The list has been updated guys. Keep posting No 8-bit? I'm surprised nobody mentioned Skies of Arcadia. Btw, regarding Legend of Dragoon, I may say I've played the second one for the PS2, and I didn't like that much... (maybe because I played it too late in time?) anyone played it? And for those who keep mentioning Lost Odyssey, I ask, is thos a J-RPG? Doesn't seem like one, or at least, no "anime-like" graphics =/ Am I wrong? What's the bif deal with this game anyways?
there is no Legend of Dragoon 2... Perhaps you mean Legend of Legaia 2 Duel Saga? Which is a Fabulous game IMO , amazing soundtrack, fun battles, cool characters and everything. I have very fond memories of it. Just as good as the first game.
Lost Odyssey was produced by the creator of the Final Fantasy series. It is an awesome, awesome game.
Yeah, I'm sorry, that's the one. I found the battles to be very tedious... but maybe because you played it when it was released, and I only did after playing FFX as well as other more "updated" 3D games...
Lost Odyssey is indeed pretty good. If you're up for something traditional in this generation, you can't go wrong with that one or Tales of Vesperia. But where's the "Tales of Eternia" love? That one is really great. I think the best in the series so far. I'm also very, very partial towards Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter. It's one of the best JRPGs ever made, by far. IV wasn't bad at all, either. And also, Dragon Quest 8. So, so good.
As said before, there was no sequel to Legend of Dragoon, I wish they would make one already, there would finally be a reason for me having a PS3 lmao I only had it long enough to get partway through disc 2, but it seemed to have a very Final Fantasy "feel" to it. Graphically it looked very much like a pretty, upgraded, hd Final Fantasy 10. I only got to disc 2 though, so i cant really be the best judge of that game, what i did play i enjoyed though.
Yeah i read all of that already tream I was more or less just commenting on how much i would like to see a sequel.
LOL, you found out my white full stop..:claphad to make it in order to post the quotes..) Btw, I'm gonna add those.

I've wanted to play Lost Odyssey forever! X--O
I would like to quickly point out a few things: 1. Lost Odyssey is awesome. 2. Lunar Silver Star Story and Lunar Eternal Blue are BOTH best played on the Sega CD where they were not butchered. All remakes afterwards are not worth mentioning.
Sorry to disappoint you. But that is a matter of opinion. I find the Sega CD versions inferior to the Saturn/Psx/psp Remakes. The only one they are better than is Lunar Legends for the GBA IMO That's not to say the originals are bad in any way. They are great games.
I don't know, I REALLY, REALLY loved Lunar and Lunar 2 on PSX. The characters were awesome. Lunar 2 was improved greatly for the 32 bit version - you know, like for that god awful fight with Borgan and the whole epilogue. I don't see many mentions for Grandia II. The original Grandia saved me from suicide (long story - summary: distracted me when I was very depressed) when I was like 20 or so, but Grandia II was so, SO awesome that it's pretty much worth getting a Dreamcast just for it. The PS2 Version is a godawful abomination, though.
It's not so unbearable. Grandia II on the PS2 was one of the best experiences I ever had with the system. Sure it's not the best version of it due to bugs and slowdown but it doesn't stop it from being an amazing game
It is a great game, for certain. If you can't get your hands on the Dreamcast or PC Versions, PS2 will suffice. Be forewarned, though, that even if it IS a great game, the PS2 version looks uglier than my ass. And it has a lower framerate too.
I recall the audio and Video on the PC version being quite good back in the day. I have all three versions, but I haven't touched the PC one in ages (When I played it, I had an Nvidia 5200 and an on board Sound Card on my Gigabyte motherboard, and 1 GB Ram. Imagine when this was!) I do sort of remember the 2D elements looking blurry on the PC, and better on Dreamcast and PS2. But there were so many issues with the 3D on PS2, and so much slowdown...
