OMG, another buggy to death game:
Driver 1 for psx.
My friend had it and sometimes you see cars jumping to infinite, strange loadings, you can drive on the sea.
You can also encounter EEEEENORMOUS slowdowns (drop to 5 fps sometimes without any frame skip > The game appears quite drunk ^^).
But, this game is sooo cool. I want it for the 32x !!!

Sega Genesis is a cool system, quite powerful, easy to understand and with some interresting extentions (ie:32x & segacd). On one hand, the segacd doesn't allow you to make crazy things if you're not an expert; On the other hand, its the only way to get cool music and to distribute it (cd is far cheaper than a cartridge).
The 32x is a impressive monster but I can only use it with a cartridge (in segacd mode, there isn't enough ram).

To be truely amazing youre certainely speaking about the zyrinx tape... Yes, all is amazing in this demo (because all is done by sofware and only with the 32x calculation power, and the psx can't do this by software).

The 32x has 256Ko of hi speed DRAM shared by both sh2.
Using a cartridge, the 32x is a monster (you have 8mo of programm + 256ko of ram).
But using the segacd32x the 32x needs to put all in his 256ko ram and its very very small (1 uncompressed 32K fullscreen color pic takes more than 256ko ^^).

As false as this statement is, I have to say that Halo is not THAT good of a game. Sure it is a good game, but it is not as good as everyone says it is. I liked the single player, but multiplayer was way too boring.

Now, buying an XBOX just for Halo... well that is just foolish. If you are going to buy a system for just one game, don't waste your money. There are plenty of good games out there for the XBOX, obviously you are not trying. However, Seeing as you are stuck on your decision to buy few XBOX games, may I recomend one to you? Why don't you try Metal Slug 3. It is a great game, and I am sure you will love it, even if you can't beat it.

And please, stop the XBOX bashing.

 

first, i've buyed my xbox 40 days after is released date, second , this reply that i've made was made 2-3 months ago? my xbox broke 1 year after i've bought it , and i've repaired it 1 month ago.
like you must think, i didn't rent/buy any game between the date that my xbox broke and the date that i've repaired it. so i mainly only played first generations game on my xbox , and like every other consoles , alot of the first generations games are crap , andhave loads of bugs in them. did it expalin a bit the situation? i hope so. :smt083 i love every consoles released on earth , at the exception of the 3d0 real , because the only game i've played on it was total crap, and the wonderswan, because i've never played it.... oh, yeah, there's some other consoles that i saw in all my life too, like a mega duck... :smt030 among alot of others.

like i've always said in earlier topics , its not the xbox that i dislike , it microsoft and their way of business. i don't tell that the xbo is my favorite console too, i can't say this mainly because i'm not an usa american ( :smt043 ).

but , ey , that's true that the xbox is , MOST OF THE TIME, more axed on graphics than gameplay, we can't hide it. Microssoft itself axe is console on power , every ads they've made always said , the xbox is the most powerful console ever , our consoles have state-of-the-art graphics, (...) . that you like it or not..

it's true that halo wasn't that good , i don't say that this game is bad , not at all.. he's really fun but the game is a bit too linear and alot repetitive , alot of ''players'' think this game is at the top, but they are false , there's better . alot of players are saying ',halo kick ass!'' and they don't want to touch Zelda:Tww with a 10 yard pole because they limit their selves to graphics (again...what was i've say about xbox and graphics earlier) They really miss a piece of art , only because they think its imature or something else, they don't whant to try it.

but , contrary to you, i've enjoyed every 8 players-a-team capture the flag. :-D

I don't care if you talk about Microsoft, I just don't like XBOX bashing.

Yes, Microsoft does boast about their systems graphics, but it is usually only Microsoft, and Diehard XBOX fanboys. Now, the important part. How many times have you heard a third party developer say they like XBOX becasue it has the best graphics. Most of them don't, and if they do mention graphics It usually is something like this, "We chose XBOX because we wanted to have the freedom to make the game look like what we want it to look like, and the XBOX is the only system than can do that for us." Microsoft is not the only one company who make games for the XBOX. There are a lot of third party developers as well.

Strange, I thought Zelda: TWW was one of the most graphically impressive games ever, and I am one of those XBOX "players". BTW Zelda: TWW is my favorite game across all current gen platforms, MS3 being in a close second. I will miss the Cell Shaded graphics.

I have never played Halo in a Lan. I have only played four player split screen, which is boring.

As hard as you try, it will never seem clear... Your English that is :-D

halo multiplayer was boring with just two people though. i want to get the "hookups" and play against the other people. they might be better because they play it 24/7.

oh, yes , tww is one of the most impresive game for graphics right now . but alot of ''players'' think that good graphics= realistic graphics. plus alot of people didn't whanted to touch Tww because in their minds cartoony graphics= imature game= kiddy game= bad game. and they jumped at the conclusion.

Hey, did anyone mention the great bug in Head Hunter for the Dreamcast? If you drive your bike down to the end of the storm drain area then angle it near the end wall near the top, you can drive through the wall and continue driving in to parts otherwise unknown. It's great when you come to the end of the road. THe bike just drops off and re-appears back in the middle of the city.

Cahaz, your English is fine. Don't worry about it. Many native English people are lazy f*ckers when it comes to other languages. They think that everyone should speak English. Learining another language isn't easy at all. It takes a long time and plenty of dedication.
