I can pretty much agree with that. What about the DSL screen revisions? This info comes to mind: http://kotaku.com/gaming/switcheroo/new-ds-screens-not-as-good-as-old-ds-screens-293552.php I don't know if it was just the Brain Age 2 systems, or if Nintendo permanently switched to the screens after that time.
Bought a micro 20th anniversary edition boxed recently and ive got to say that its saturation is better than my ds lites..
The screen is very bright and clear, but way too small. I bought GBA micro on release day, but after using it for a few minutes went back to GBA SP and eventually bought GBA SP 2nd edition (with bright TFT screen). I think GBA micro would do much much better if it was may be 20% bigger in size. Dingoo A320 is a similar form-factor but bigger device, and people absolutely love it.
Just a heads up: Me and some people at pocket heaven are trying to get it to run GB/GBC games. See the thread here: http://www.pocketheaven.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=6189 (im under the same name there)
That would rock!111111  Hey randyrandall. Wanna make a little vid showing Pokemon or Dragon Ball gameplay and how it feels in your hands/ pockets? Btw, do you know where I can get a cheap deal?
I'm also a micro fan. I have two of them. The small size is what really sold me on the micro. Regarding the SP, don't forget that Nintendo released a second version of the SP (AGS-101) that had improved backlighting. I have one of those as well and it's a big improvement over the original SP.
Hey Tream, did you ever get a micro? I got one a release day. The sprites look amazing on it, the battery life is perfect and it fits my hands perfect. I enjoy it 10 times more then my SP. Though i think the SP was the greatest hand held released by nintendo
