    For future reference, there's no reason to low-level format (zeroing out) a new drive.

    But yeah, populating any large, modern drive with data will take a surprisingly long time. When I shifted all my data to a 2TB RAID array recently it took several hours. And as Assembler found out recently, throw TrueCrypt into the mix and you can be there for days.

    The losses are lost. No disc, no money, no PS3, no TV, no anything else. Just a bucketload of money flushed down the toilet and an empty space were my possessions used to be (though I did since acquire another TV)

    As has been repeatedly stated in the other threads (which were even stickied then locked for the repsonse to be clear so it is not lost in the sea of posts and clearly marked as closed) in a word - no. The target has been reached and the discs have been allocated. Thankyou for your interest though ;)
