As far as I'm aware, I was the second person to donate to the fundraiser of "doom" for Geist Force.

ASSEMbler said he'll be getting pressed copies for those that donated, but are there any more details on this? I mean, I donated 20 dollars to the fundraiser, and 12 to the site. Do I qualify for a pressed copy?

Was it only for a certain amount of donation? Can we get some details on this what so ever? I mean, with Yakumo's post, things are certainly looking hopeful for the game, I'm sure some of us who donated would like to know if there were any specific requirements for a pressed copy.

Can we pay for a pressed copy yet?

I don't quite understand how this site operates it seems.

    +1 - it should probably say MIL-CD

As for news on pressing give him a chance to even receive or dump it yet - the first Geist disc spent 9 days in the mail then days to attempt a dump. Then you need to factor in pressing and printing will need some shopping around and cost a fuckload of money and take extra time, yet there are many demands and the thread is only 4-5 days old! The world works too slow but when ASSEMbler knows you will know.

They should be 300dpi. Looks like the Photoshop Save To Web feature reduces the dpi. No problem. I'll just post them again if anyone really needs he 300dpi version. As for the size, they are fine for printing  As retro pointed out, it's the dpi which is most important.,

Yeah, I was wondering why they were so small. By all means, please post the higher-res versions.

As far as looking professional, I don't think that really matters. All that matters is whether it looks good or not - and at 300dpi, it should look pretty good.

I thought dpi was a function of resolution and the size at which you print the image. Isn't it? A DC case is about 5.5" x 5". Of course part of that is taken up by the insert thingy, so the actual cover is probably about 5" x 5".

Eh? Those are roughly the same size as the other ones you uploaded. Maybe imageshack is automatically resizing them or something. Also, I think you should include the little strip with the DC logo. We can always remove it later if necessary.

There's no point in the strip because that is where the CD case spine would be. If you keep it on then the cover will be too wide for a CD case and if you resize it then it will just looks stupid. I'll be making a real spine card soon

You were right about imageshack, they were resizing them. Here they are all fixed

Me too, I only donated $16 but hopefully I can do something more to secure a pressed copy.

Seems noone has pointed this out but there is a minor typo (letter deletion) in the NTSC-U cover.

Just thought I should point that out before someone decides its production run worthy...

Gripped and griped are very different words.

I put that down to the nonsense Engrish it's written in, there are plenty of issues with it. Could do with being translated properly IMO.

Well, what language is the game even in? I mean, if it's in Japanese, I say just leave it with the Japanese covers.

I thought someone had made that particular image is all, didn't realize it was an official(ish) cover.

It reads like a Google Translate to me.

If Yakumo can do a proper translation, I'll run it by the author of the covers. I just had him post the translated version of the original Yakumo posted with the Engrish text.

This was just a quick job due to no details on the net of the game. Here is the first back cover he made, but it isn't as detailed.

If we're being picky about English, there's a few problems with that one as well. Unnecessary capitalisation and an apostrophe where it shouldn't be. The text is a bit rough, too (it doesn't really read like insert copy) - I'd go for the original Japanese instead unless we've got an official press release in English or similar.

    Wow.

Not been here for ages. But wow. Wow. Wow. Lots has gone on... Can't believe there is a chance I might actually be able to play this game in the future. Amazing. Seems everything is covered but if more fundrasing to help get this game out in the wild is needed I'm more than happy to help.

Very excited, thanks to those who've donated and those who have put the effort getting the release. Looks amazing. Wish I'd come on earlier now! >_<
