Ok, i plan to use this thread to highlight all the online interviews currently up/out there, i've done on behalf of various sites/publications, looking into what happened too.... Everything so far that was'nt a simple email exchange can be found by following THIS LINK: http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50063&hilit=interview+blowout When future interviews go up, i'll just update this thread with a new post. @Warning:I should nickname these 'The Bad News' interviews as every time i ask what happened too...news is never great (ie ohh i've a back up copy right here, lol) so much has been lost or was never started :-(

Thank you all for the very kind words. Should be more on the way very soon. Just had the greenlight to carry out a further 2, to add to the existing WIP ones as well. So a few more in me yet
Just trying to reach coder who made the following claims: Fighting Force 3 (PS2) shelved when Core split into 2 companies.... Swagman was out on PS1+Saturn, but it appears there was an INTERNAL USE ONLY version on the PC Tomb Raider was in brief development on the N64 but was shelved due to Contractual Agreements or so it seems......... Bloody cat in hells chance he'll reply but are posted from him and he apparently worked on all of them...
Latest set of interview Q's sent out... EX-UK Coder, now living in L.A, but..he used to holiday/surf at my local beach (Bude) so we ended up chatting about that as well. I'll tease a little, this guy turned down chance to work on Tomb Raider........ does he regret it? watch this space
http://www.grumpyoldgamers.co.uk/index.php?/topic/4017-the-john-edelson-interview/#comment-34087 Nothing major, i just asked John for his thoughts on his time and roles at 3DO and Argonaut, what he thought of the 3DO hardware and it's rival, the Jaguar and which platforms Argonaut were interested in supporting and why etc. See what you think.
Ok, so technically another interview just came back in with answers, but it joins the existing one, sat here in a view only mode, Goggle Document, so might be a while before i get it sorted, but there's details of a lost PS1 game, if nowt else takes yer fancy and an Xbox game that started life on PS2..but until chap in question unlocks it..i cannot get it used...sigh....
Thanks.I'm not taking things lightly when i say your feedback is very much appreciated. Hope you enjoy my very latest: Mr Jon Hilliard, Ex-Core Design: Battlecorps and BC Racers (Sega CD/Mega CD) Morph (Amiga) etc etc http://www.grumpyoldgamers.co.uk/index.php?/topic/4027-the-jon-hilliard-interview/
Also impressed with your detective work -I guess with social media it makes it a lot easier to actually follow up leads and find these people. Great work!
Misc Updates time really: GTW have a few projects to finish off then work should begin on the Atari feature, i did have further info in from a source regarding it, but he did'nt want his views made public or to be named :-( Hoping to get the last of my Jaguar related interviews back in soon, plus the last Domark interview planned originally for Classic Console Mag, to have it's proof reading finished, interview unlocked by contact, so it can go up online. Just forwarded a few misc Q's to NAPS Team for Unseen 64's upcoming book. They did PS1:Gekido:Urban Fighters and Rageball, A500/A1200/CD32 Shadow Fighter and the Unreleased GBA game Dark Night.... But i'm really hoping to get everything in, online and done n dusted ASAP with no future research planned for 2016.
Whilst there is still nothing 'in' from interviews i put out, Unseen64 had me put a few Q's to Ex-Pandemic coder, who's worked on platforms such as PC, PS1, Saturn, PS2, Xbox and GC, so i thought i'd try and capture his thoughts on those. Unseen64 of course asking about the Lost games aspect. Given sheer amount of time these things take, ideal for us to team-up and get people approached, rather than struggle on single minded
Unseen64 contacted me today, asked if i had any Q's for an Ex-Atari person.... Sadly it was Atari as in: ATARI /PARADIGM ENTERTAINMENT :-( And regarding games he did work on, i'm not even sure which versions (ie PS2/Xbox or GC), so think at best, i'll be asking him stuff about his N64 game, as i've not put Q's to many N64 coders before.....
