Your collection is simply amazing OE and i would be really intrested in seeing the betas dashboard and anything else thats different fromt he retail console. Just by intrest how much did it cost you for one and where did you get it from if you dont mind me asking as i have been after a 360 alpha/beta/debug/dev for sometime :thumbsup:

Ah yes, it sure is noisy, in fact it was the #1 gripe from Developers as soon as it was used.

The fans run at full speed all the time rather than 'on demand', so this got changed almost straight away so that the fans only ran as required.

 

If i were a hot 18 year old female, what would I be doing in this forum in the first place ? :lol:

yeah I heard about that from a friend.. something that the fan controller wasn't 100% reliable or what ever it was.

 

You should also see the beta kit in a darkened room.

Honestly, it looks like some first-time case-modder was given the thing and just decided to put LEDs *EVERYWHERE*

"Oooh! Look! Blue LEDs! And Orange! Gotta use the Orange!"

I had to laugh the first time I saw it. Was really tempted to ask if the case designer got help from his 15-year-old kid.

The Kasumi-chan Blue Xbox is limited to 5000 though. (^_^)

 

It was originally meant to be ltd to 5000, but by the time it got released it went up to 6000.

...Just like what happened to the ltd Panzer Dragoon Xbox....that was originally gonna be ltd to 999 consoles but went up to 1049.

 

As usual, a tour around the collection of OE is part joy, part jealousy and part shopping list of items on (my and) many peoples "wish list". This is real view-it-and-drool-a-vision.
