The seller doesn't seem to want to take anything less than $1400... oh well. Guess it's one of those consoles I'll never own. On another note, how much is that Halo 2 console the same guy is selling worth? I've honestly never seen it before in my life but I googled it and could only find one other thread about it on another forum.
I would have to see an actual box from ASIA as the play-asia link has a marketing type picture. Maybe this is where MS sold off all the excess green console cases when Halo 2 was selling in blue cases around the rest of the world. I'd have more information "if" I collected retail items, but sadly I don't collect anything sold at the retail level. I'm sure others here on AG may know though, I just find it odd that MS sold a green console with a sticker of a 2 for a Halo 2 Bundle. If you collect limited-edition consoles this would be nice to have if it had the box. http://www.play-asia.com/xbox-clear-green-halo-2-collectors-edition/13/70fgt Edit: I guess it was available, found another picture of it.
Damn I wonder how much that would be worth boxed... all these limited edition decal consoles are driving me nuts.
I've been eyeballing that green halo 2 on eBay since it showed up. I think it's too much considering it doesn't even have a box. If I remember correctly, the last one complete went for about the same price.
Halo Kitty: Welcoming Evolved. Seriously though, I wonder if there are more XBOX consoles like these ones, Maybe more Orange or other obscure versions we have never heard of?
Someone bought the eBay Hello Kitty for $999.00 Opened, and no box or papers. A sticker added $950.00 to the price of a crystal Xbox console.
Welp... somehow I'm not surprised. Unfortunately I don't have enough money to blow on these limited edition decal consoles. That Halo console is actually really tempting especially since I'm a huge Halo fan, but Microsoft was a hundred times lazier with the sticker on that one compared to even the Hello Kitty one.
It's not just a sticker. IT'S A STICKER OF MANLINESS. I tought it was a complete paint job for this edition.
I'll admit that it's probably the rarest Xbox skin, what would be cooler is still having the 5k TV that was sold with it, and the box.
That Hello Kitty that just sold was also broken if no one caught that part. Seller said it wouldn't turn on. So no box and broken for $999. Someone wanted it really bad. Should have bought the one that sold a few months ago for 1500 euro that was BNIB. I have that Halo 2 green but it has been modded with a X3 chip. I only bought it because it was cheap. Like all the other Asian console LEs they do not come up very often. I have had two chances to buy it with the box but because of bullshit I wasn't able to buy either. I have some pictures of it complete if anyone wants to see them. Just personally for the Asian version of LE consoles, the box is the most important part because the consoles themselves aren't all that different.
I guess that puts the value of the Hello Kitty Xbox box and inserts alone at around ~680USD? Granted the boxed console probably wasn't broken like this one so you can deduct a hundred dollars or so from that amount. And yes do post photos of the complete Halo 2 Green console please, I'm on the hunt for one now lol.
It's just a green console with a Halo 2 sticker on the top of the console. Pictures of the console itself are on eBay, and has been opened/serviced. Looks to be a white Halo 2 colored logo instead of the typical blue. The date of January 31 2004 has me wondering if these are from the same batch of extreme green consoles, I'll check mine tonight.
that console on that link was softmodded the OLD way.. I used to do that back in the day.. That thing needs to be updated. That to old of a mod for the price.
My Canadian green has a date from Feb 2004. Probably in the same batch. I actually just made my own halo 2 green console lmao. I'll upload a picture with my real halo 2 blue consoles when I get home. Edit: Just a sample of my collection. Once I'm done moving, I'll get a group photo with all my other controllers and consoles and post it in the Member collections subforum.
My translucent green is dated 2-17-2003 and is 220-240V. And seeing your blue consoles, mine's an Asia 100V from 2005 with black jewel. I use the Green for PAL and the blue I use for NTSC-J games/discs I come across.
Lol. I was really bored this past weekend. I really wish Microsoft would have put more effort into that console though other than the unique box and sticker.
Make that logo non translucent and you've got a winner! If somebody who owns these limited edition consoles is able to make perfect replicas of the decals, I think many of us would down for a couple. XD Btw MoonTar if you have some photos of the complete Halo 2 console boxed set, I'd really like to see them so I know what to look out for. Will likely be planning a vacation to Singapore soon haha.
