I have Viking blood in my heritage, but I believe a great portion of Wales does. I'm a quarter Welsh! I also have the hair to prove it.
i'm german and scottish. Probably some Norse in there considering the Shetland (Hjaltland), Orkney (Orkneyjar), Outer Hebrides (Su'ereyar) and Man (M'n) Colonies. But hell. Vikings were evreywhere in europe

Thanks for the link DK. Justa shame there's no English version. By the way, isn't the Japanese version God awful  Yakumo
Well, I didn´t see Vicky The Viking when I was a child. But I take your words on, that the Japanese version is God awful. But I have a sweet spot for old themes, such as Denver The Last Dinosaur and The Chipmunks, if you remember that series ? with Alvin, Simon and Theodor ? But some of my first manga seeing as a child, was Superbook/ The Flying House. And the Danish version of My Neighbour Totoro on DR1(yeah there was a Danish dubbed version before it came on DVD last year here with the Danish dub and all that jazz ), before the manga crazy hit . But well I was interested in Manga ever since I began reading the Danish version of Superplay, called Powerlayer here. And yes I still have the old Danish Powerplayer magazines. And I still remember the first manga I got on VHS (so long ago) was Akira and then I got SF2 the Animated movie, and Catgirl nuku nuku , and then I just bought random VHS tapes with anime. But anyway enough of me talking
Nothing beats the hardcore baseline in the German OP: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ELLFgmD2zo4
hmmmm talking about vikings, Jorvik was the norse name for a English city which is now called York, and coppergate doesn´t mean where the copper workers used copper. But it was drinking cups, they made there. So it copper gate means the cup makers street, and you can still see the word gate (street) in the Norwegian language to this date. The Danish uses d in gate so it is spelled gade in Danish. And the word russian comes from the viking word for a rower. As in Rowing, and if you know about the vikings, then kreml and some other cities has found viking treasure. So it is no wonder why the vkings have been every where. Miklagård (Miklagarðr) was the name they gave Byzantium, which then became Constantinople and now it is known as Istanbul.
Ride across the sky, thunder roll and lightning fly Gone is the summer What will keep us warm in the winter Tales of those who died, sword in hand in times gone by Hail to the hammer, Hail to the hammer! I, personally, love Norse mythology and viking folklore. I'm hoping by the end of the year to have a sleeve of tattoos done on my arm, which is going to be the tale of creation written in the Elder Futhark, spiraling downwards, ending at my wrist.
That tat will be a beast when its finished. I know a couple of tat artists in our area so if youd like i can start finding out prices and such for you.
There's only one true Viking for the modern age and he is TECHNO-VIKING ! I would post a link to the You Tube video but I can't access You Tube in work Yakumo
if you are interested in the Valhalla film in a better resolution, then it is available at demonoid in a DVDrip with English subtitles.
