The "What did you do over the weekend?" Thread

I figure, since most of you have other hobbies, be it sports or otherwise, that you do on the weekend, why not make a thread on it?


Me? I went shooting...

I sat at home revising for a maths exam I had today. Unfortunately, it seems to have been in vein, as I found the exam bloody hard :-(

 

I went to see my uncle and aunt who came from California to live here in Georgia with their toddler daughter and newly born son! :icon_bigg

 

Not much really...my highlights were...

Going running on Friday Night...

Spending Saturday evening going down to Cincinnati where I bought Futurama season 4 DVDs and two Atari Lynx Games...Hydra and Chip's Challenge.

I mean to go ice skating, but I never got around to it.

 

I played Battlefield 2 and played some PSP...that's about it

 

Worked on my RPG in RM2K3. I made a floatin' demon infested island! Im not going to use it in the game, I was just experimenting and getting the feel of the program. If I must say so myself, I think my floating island looks awesome. I spent over 6 hours just creating it rather than everything else.

Next weekend will probably be starting on the actual game. Im in desperate need of good music for the game, though.

havent played it yet, though.

 

Um... cleaned my house up because i had lost my entire collection of xbox proto discs... Still haven't found them...

 

errr, tried to get satilite working, spent time with grandparents...celebrated mothers b-day

I went to a chiropractor b/c I fucked up my neck, then played poker for pretty much the rest of the weekend. STarted off nice, but I pissed all my winnings and then some away. Some tough beats, which is sad, b/c I played some fantastic cards -- just got unlucky.

 

Oh yeah... i saw that too. Movie was awesome, and yes Kate Beckensale may be the hottest chick on the planet.

 

Caught up on my sleep on saturday. Sunday got my car's oil changed and tire replaced, because it had 3 freaking nails in it.

 

Had to turn in a "Discursive Analysis" paper and an "Ethics in Education" report by monday morning (the system to "hand in" online set the limit for Discursive Analysis by 2359 hrs on sunday, so...)
Tried to watch the Broncos game, but I fell asleep. Helped a friend of mine finish some design work.
Finished the Ethics report early so I could sleep until late this morning... and I had a fucking horrible dream at around 0650 hrs this morning and couldn't sleep anymore. So I started more work on another project.

 

Spent most of Friday and Saturday with my gf.
Changed my car's oil on Sunday morning, and played some Avernum 4 over most of the afternoon.
We got some pretty heavy snowfall this morning, so I ended up not going to work thus I had an unexpected 3 day weekend.

Got drunk and watched Miss America. Inked and colored a five page comic. ^_^;;

Sunday: gaming all day

Sunday: nothing (sleeped most of the day)

 

I had to learn, too, freakin finals comming up again...

 

If you're going for a PHD, don't you have to write a disertation?
