Is it just me, or are other people calling the Wii U for the Pee U ? cause such a name makes me think of Spike Jones and his city slickers. But anyway the specs on it are not bad

It won't fuck up their business. They will still be slaughtering each other and innocent bystanders for control of the corridors into the US.

The UK had their share of foreign policy fuck-ups as well my friend. Many of which still persist today.

 

I think legalizing it would only barely make a dent on the narco's business. They are making their money with more hardcore drugs.

Granted, many people would turn to marijuana if it were legalized, but I don't think its the magical cure for the Narco's issues.

They should legalize consumption and like they did here, cultivation for personal use. While selling it should still be illegal.

In any case, the only solution for the Narco's problem is far from easy, since they are probably backing up policymakers with their money....

I never did drugs, and personally hate them: in my opinion they are too dangerous to be all legalized. But marijuana the least harmful one, so why not? People are gonna do it anyways...

Way more people smoke pot in the US than take hard drugs. It is the new alcohol. Very socially acceptable... and people are making money off of it illegally.

So how do you know hate them?

Guns, tobacco, and alcohol are all dangerous, and are all legal in the US, and many countries.

 

Vitamin M is far less harmful than alcohol.

As someone who has consumed mind altering chemicals of the legal (Alcohol, antidepressants and other harder stuff for mental health) and illegal types (mostly pot), I can tell you that it's definitely irrational to have pot be illegal and alcohol be legal.

Alcohol is more violent, it's more addictive, and it's definitely more abusable. It's also more expensive and easier to overdose and die on.

And I wouldn't favour banning alcohol either. Prohibition and other moral panics pretty much just line the pockets of mobsters.

That being said, I understand the reasons for banning harder drugs, like Cocaine or Heroin. But it is the fact that they are illegal, not the fact that they are consumed, that makes drug lords, and their puppet governments, rich.

It's not an easy problem to solve.

Another angle to this problem. Why does fucking reality suck so much that we seek so desperately to escape it? Why are people's lives so miserable that they'd take risks to alter their perception of them? Governments and people should also work to improve the quality of life of the people of the countries involved in this - and that would seriously cut on drug use.

yeah the guide Twimfy linked is the right wiring points. The tough part is that those 3.5" screens are almost all completely different internally since theyre all just being mass produced by random chinese plants. The one I used looks like its natively 480 rather than 240. It was also harder to squeeze inside the Nomad since it had a lengthy ribbon cable running from the screen to the controller board, took some finagling to close everything up. It's definitely worth doing, the hardest part aside from cramming that ribbon cable in was just getting the lcd properly lined up, kind of tricky since

A) the screen is slightly larger than the Nomads display port (the plastic crops off the overscan)

B) the screen is actually not straight in the Nomad case, it's slightly angled.

Awesome! It seems that people are using my info obtained from the PSN breach, woke up this morning to a lady calling me about a service I never ordered, and then checked my bank info and saw that there were like $300 in charges for shit I've never heard of. Luckily, my bank is gonna get my money back and send me a new CC and the Debix people should be calling me on monday about it. Such a pain in the ass though
