    Happy birthday, sir.

I know your feeling, I had a couple ones like that one in my early 20s.

But you have your buddies at this forum.

Well, my cousin is getting married today. It's been very busy the last month preparing but it's quite exciting as well.

Last night we took shots of Jägermeister and played Halo 1 with 12 people in the hotel room. One of the best nights ever! Today should be just as fun, too.

A buddy of mine is getting married today, as well. I wasn't invited to the party, though. Not that I would take offense, I don't think I would want to go to a wedding anyway.

I hate weddings. Find them terribly boring and the receptions almost always have
    A. Crap music
    B. Crap food
    or
    C. Crap people

I sound like a boring old man but they genuinely do bore me.

    I don't get it.

Why are people in the US demonstrating against the health care reform?

After reading all about the steps and innovations that Obama brought up, I don't have a clue what anyone could have possibly against it except for the small tax raise. But it's not like they wouldn't get something back for it. 46 million people without health care? WTF? Unimaginable in most parts of the world. How can anyone live without being insured? Well, apparently US insurance companies can reject patients, that's weird enough.
But how the hell can somebody be AGAINST chaning this unfair possibility to reject people because of preexisting conditions? AGAINST EQUALITY? Are people really that stupid? Apparently the protesting is most popular amongst republicans and tea party members, so I guess the answer is yes.

Or am I missing a very important detail that makes it all sensible? Why are people holding up signs calling Obama the next Hitler, what has he done? Equal care for everyone & eliminating unfair examinations seems like a very un-hitler'ish thing to do. Whereever I'm looking the only thing I find are phrases like "I wanna be able to decide AGAINST it!". Are people just stupid? What's the matter with them. o_o

Folks are not so much against the stuff in the bill such as no longer allowing insurance companies to block those with pre-existing conditions. I believe that even those against the bill (such as myself) are in agreement that change is a good thing.

The part you are missing that pisses the majority of people off is the individual mandate clause which forces people that do not have insurance to purchase it or face a penalty. People don't like being told what to do and like being told to buy something (which benefits private corporations) they don't necessarily want even less.

Another major factor was that it was a huge (1000+ page) bill that many if not most in Congress admitted to having not even read.

BTW: Those folks with the Hitler signs are idiots.

But it's the right step, it works all around the world for everyone. If people must be forced to improve their lifestyle then so be it. It's careless not to be insured today. They should be grateful that there actually is a health care they can benefit from unlike 150 years ago.

I bet nobody of those Tea Party members complained when billions of the average tax payer's money was literally burned in Iraq. At least health care buys them something.

The U.S. is dismantling everything that once made it a great nation. Fucking plutocracy. It's shameful. It's a disaster.
No healthcare, destroying social security and grounding the space program, and de-taxing the rich?
What the fuck is this, the seventeenth fucking century?

Man, Obama is a fucking joke. As is all of the government. What utter shit.

The United States is pretty much about to turn into Mexico. It's one of the greatest countries on earth, with a ruling class that insists of making it a third world shithole.

    What a fucking disgrace.

Hahahaha, as if they give a shit about equality. The people who have healthcare/insurance and are against the think "I already have it, so why should I have to pay for those damn poor people?". The rest are against it because of cognitive dissonance.

    Yes.

I don't get why so many people complain about cutting the space program, surely there are more important things to spend money on in these times than Martian rocks or something else that's relatively useless.

I agree. What we (as in whole world) and America need are alternate fuel sources and jobs amongst others, and I don't think we're going to find that in space. Even so I think it would be difficult recreating that on this planet, and transporting the energy back from the other planet.

I see the logic in cutting the space program, but I highly doubt that money is going to end up getting spent in a better place.

And Denmark wants to more like the USA, when it comes to the health care , seriously WTF ??? according to the film SICKO Denmark is just above USA, when it comes to the healthcare... Yeah Obama is a fucking joke, he started out as an awesome Afro American, and black president, sorry I mean a "mixed race", or what ever (use the word you want to use). I will say black, cause that is what he is. But the problem is also, when the democrats had the power in upper and lower (house), there Obama was tripped by his own peers, now it is the fucking crazy republicans (sorry to the non crazy republicans). who trips him, so it is not entirely all Obamas fault. The day my father needs to pay for his doctor consultations, and or his hospital visits, I will curse at the republicans here. Cause thanks to them the private hospitals and all the crazy fucked privatised bullshit they are better than the public sector. So fuck it, and let us all smoke some serious hash. Pot/Marijuana is not what I smoke, cause when the Danes smokes a joint, then we take a cigarette, roast the tobacco so we can get some of the nicotine and what not away, and then we mix it with the hash. And then we roll it into a joint. That is a "Danish joint".

Marijuana is the only illegal drug I support the legalisation on. I would never smoke it myself but it is the least damaging (if at all) of the bunch. I don't get why it hasn't been legalised it yet and the governments aren't selling it like cigarettes.

Actually, I am talking about it is perfectly legal to buy filters and stuff like that in normal shops, and here we are of course talking about the long filters, hell even pre rolled filters and stuff like that. And Christania is a mere saga now a days. But there are many places, where you can buy some good hash.

If reads Herman reads it, are you an ent ? since you could really use some 420, and GoH could really benefit from it, since 420 is great when it comes to his assholish behaviour . Or is it his ADHD/ADD behaviour ?
