Well, I asked her out to dinner. I think I might bring up a DTR conversation. We've been kinda dating since early August. I think it's about time right?

 

fucking cops got my license and registration+plates for 20 days for making a wrong turn into a one-way empty street at midnight.

Been there mate. I had my license taken away for 30 days in Summer for going only 8km over the limit on an empty dual lane at night. It wasn't too bad for me though because I spent 14 of those days in the UK where I drove using my UK license. And when I returned home I spent the rest of the time relaxing at home. Fuck you Japanese police, I win :dance:

Driving the wrong way up a one way system is pretty bad though IMO, especially as they are usually well signposted. You are lucky they didn't charge you for driving without due care and attention

I live on a one way system and we occasionally get cars going the wrong way, even lorries. Not good when it is a narrow street with blind bends. We even get eejits who think reversing up the one way system is OK because they are not facing the wrong way - the sign is for direction of travel, not direction you are pointing. Kinda stupid IMO. Be thankfull you get your licence back in 20 days time

I got beat up by 2 bouncers for sneaking into the club. They would not let me in because I have an afro, and the bouncers hate me to death.

I got caught inside took outside, took me to the curve and started punching me. Thank god they didn't actually try to break me, otherwise they easily could have.

Gotta love fucking 3rd world countries, does this shit seriously happen anywhere else?

Yes, I've never driven in an idiotic way anyway. That particular spot where I turned was a stretch of about 5 meters, and it used to be a two-way cut of road, pretty wide and with parking entrances at each side.

That night I was in a hurry because the ATM was on the opposite side and I had to pick up an item that had previously fell out of my pocket, before anyone stole it. It was about 12:30 at midnight and the road was empty as fuck, besides being wide anyway, and not a main road - 40Kmhs tops speed limit at the adjacent roads.

It's not an offense really, I got 5 points on my license but they ll go away in two years time anyway.

They took a)my license b) car registration papers and c) plates. That's really unfair a punishment for going 5 meters in the wrong direction.

I ended up paying the fine (200 euro) and I filled a complaint saying that the car isn't even in my name, in that other family members have to use it and it happens to be the only vehicle we own. No dice though, the man had obviously no compassion.

 

Could be, I know what you feel like. But my opinion is still the same: Make the move or keep your mouth shut. Have you tried doing something at your/her place (movie, games, music) and enforced some physical contact? That'd sound more promising to me than a DTR (an abbreviation that I had to look up lol).
