Totally did the right thing mate. Imagine the pain it will have been in from the tumour. If something similar had happened to me I'd have done the same thing.

My cat got a tumor in its throat. Euthanasing was the best choice when the animal has difficulties to eat. Meds won't change anything. Better for it do die in a sort of peace than in pure pain.

RSPCA are the fucking worst for euthanising animals. I once saved a duck that had been bumped by a car and took it to them. It was not in pain just shock and squealing. They checked it over and made sure that it was fine but yet still euthanised it. Im all for putting them down when they are on there deathbed but when they are just scared? I could've taken it home, looked after it fed and watered it and then rereleased it.

So I have this friend and his attitude is making me really upset.

For the past couple of months all he's ever done is complain about his job, and every time I send him newspaper ads for jobs he might fit into he starts saying that he's not interested because he'd have to work with poor people for a "miserable" paycheck....

He then proceeds to complain about his love life, his INEXISTENT love life if I might add; but he has like the highest standards I've ever seen... HE wants to date a boy (he's gay of course) who looks great, has a great body, has money, has a car, has a BA or is in the process of getting one, lives in certain neighbourhoods.... PLEASE!!! Enough!

It's just feeding me up... Sorry guys but I had to vent this. He's being the hugest pain in the ass. Specially in the work department, because I used to work with him and he was like the most unsupportive friend I had when I was going through the whole nightmare of my father's death etc.

Now he's apparently traveling to India, which is something the office gives him because HE ASKED FOR IT (he's living in Dehli for 3 months) and he's already complaining about the food, the smells, the people in india...
I just want to tell him to FUCK OFF!

K-Panggg: What about asking him to fuck off then ? and in my mind, he is behaving like a bitch, so sack the bitch while you are at it. Cause in the long run you will probably feel better.

I assume she's like me, and has the unfortunate urge to keep people from discomfort even if they're a really huge stresser and annoy the shit out of you.

Ugg, the things I've talked about with people that I truly dislike being around just because it was easier to go along with things and get pummeled with negativity.

alecjahn: Well, last a friend of mine disappointed me big time in some serious issue, and I should have installed Lubuntu last week and him as my help in the deal. But instead I thought "fuck it" and ignored him. Cause when he goes Bugger All crazy, then the best thing is to ignore the guy. So if I may come with another option to K-Panggg, then maybe she should ignore the guy. Just like I did with a friend of mine last week.

Ignoring is good. Very interesting and deep tactic. It may not be as quick as a solution, but in the long run it can make a bigger impact.

alecjahn: well I am not all the brute , even though I some times seem to be that way. I am as a person a much more complex guy, and not just the berserker . But aren't we all more than, what we seem to be at times ?
Cause two weeks ago I sent a care package to a female friend I have in Floria, and I know she could not afford the stuff. So instead, I bought it to her, and sent via recommended mail. And lo and behold, she now has it :)

Thing is I can't just tell this guy to fuck off or plainly ignore him because he's my best friend from college.
I understand that he's going through some "problems" right now (namely that he cannot get laid) and that is affecting his behavior...
But still, I don't want to have a fight with him, and I don't want to loose touch... It's just that the whole "I hate everything and everyone and nothing is good enough for me" attitude is feeding me up.
