I sold Final fight 2 for the pal snes boxed and complete for 20 bucks... I had no idea it was so rare that it was worth 140 at least
a mint cib sega genesis model 2. i sold it really cheap to my young cousin in mexico like 10 years ago
An unopened copy of Rayman for the Saturn a few years back in high school to buy stuff for another collection of mine. Still kick myself every time I think about it.
When I was young, we had to get rid of our 6-player X-Men arcade cabinet. It was in bad shape(we played tons on it!), but we were kids/teens and our dad didn't know how to fix it and didn't want to pay so he sold it to some guy.
My n64 and all the games way back when. Bought a Voodoo 3 with it though and that thing kicked serious arse. I also gave away my nes and mega drive as a kid... I was not a smart child.
I sold a sealed copy of Cubic Ninja two years ago for 10 dollars it was only worth about that at the time how times change as it is now a not so cheap 3ds game
I sold my NES prototype of Starwars. Well, to be honest it was a trade for a N64 Mario Kart proto. And the guy I made the trade with is a good guy. So it is finally not a regret haha.
Quite a few of my older games when I was a kid because I wasn't playing them. Complete and pristine copies of MegaMan Legends 1 & 2 to a friend for like $15 combined at most. Conker's Bad Fur Day to another friend for about $10. Silent Hill because the game freaked me out. I eventually did repurchase Silent Hill and Conker, however although I do regret selling my MML games I don't have an emotional or nostalgic attachment to them like I did with the other two so I never bothered to shop around or go after them. If I see them in the wild for a decent/cheap price though I'll pick them up
First, your parents are awesome for buying you the X-Men arcade machine, and the full 6-player version at that. There was an "inferior" 4-player version, too. (Maybe it was better in some way, but all I cared about was 6 players back then.) I used to get two quarters every time we went to the mall, and all us random kids would wait till we had 6 people and then the fun would start. That was the golden era of X-Men. The cartoon was great and more or less followed the comic books. Then there was this 6-player arcade game, the Capcom fighting games, and, well, the console games weren't that great but nevermind that.
well not sold but i did chuck out a sega Satan i got at a flea market for $8 when i was younger as i thought i would never be able to get to get the cables for it also i chucked out a tunix home arcade console had no power cable for it so got rid of it i was stupid when i was a young teen
Between one guy selling his soul and this guy throwing out Sega's incarnation of the Dark Lord himself, I think I'm done for the day. This has gone beyond game collecting!
