I sold my copy of Megaman, Ducktales 1 and 2, and I also sold my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1. I learned my lesson after I figured out how many times I have been screwed out of decent money, and I swore off of selling anything again. To this day I haven't sold a game in 7 years.
My Asian Megadrive, Nintendo 3ds lite with about 30 games and my gba sp with 30 odd games and my original dreamcast! Come to think about it everything i've sold in the past to get the newer console etc, due to the fact everything was always mint and I new there past haha!
so many regrets. i was collecting back in 2007 then finances went south as they did for many and i sold- my saturn and panzer dragoon saga among other rare titles i will likely not own again my brand new dreamcast no longer new cause i opened it but now i own some ol beater dreamcasts which histories are unknown my n64 my parents bought me as a kid a bunch of rare limited edition games and repros my neo geo aes i know this is the least likely system for me to ever own again
My biggest regret was selling my Earthbound, E.V.O, Chrono Trigger, Secret Of Mana, Final Fantasy II & III ALL CIB for $150 years ago. Now these days these are so damn expensive I most likely won't play them ever again.
another one would be GameBoy Micro Pokemon edition I bought from the Pokemon Centre in Japan. wish missus didn't see the box and Google didn't exist...
My belove Toyota Corolla from '92. It was only the Xli version, but since it was my first car, I still miss it a lot. Bought it back in the days for 1000€ and sold it after 5 years of usage for 800€. Still, I want it back! :>
I gave away every console I've ever had to good will or friends, only to buy everything all over again years later. While that hurts, I think more about the individual titles I let go that were worth some bank. Moonwalker, Gunstar heroes both come to mind for the Genesis. Conkers Bad Fur Day, Harvest Moon 64 come to mind for the N64. Probably a ton more pricey ones too if I really put some thought into it, but I don't wanna dwell on this topic........Feels Bad........
I traded my NES to a friend on the proviso that I would buy it back from him a couple of months down the line. After like 2 weeks, he sold it. I went to see the guy he sold it to, who told me he'd thrown away the console box and all the game boxes, including both Zeldas!
A famiclone concole I got it off eBay with 7 games some where carts with more then one game on them ncluding shipping to nz for 27.34nzd when I got it everything worked fine but concole got damaged in shipping nothing bad i fixed it but I was not happy so I sold it along with the games (as I had nothing to play them on) and some buzz ps2 games for $100nzd turned out one famicom game I had was kinda rare and like a week latter my sister gave me a famicom so annoyed
This makes me so mad. He broke his promise to you. If he needed money he should have at least given you right of first refusal. Did he give a reason for doing this? It just seems so inconsiderate. -doulomb
I traded Pokemon Crystal and Red for a fucking Pitfall game with my teacher YEEEEEEAAARS ago. I regret it alot.
back in the mid 90's i sold my mint SNES in box to go and see Pantera , interestingly didn't end up going. Also mint PS1 in box with Time Crisis game and gun in box to help buy a Creative CD-Rom as i was just getting into PC's. man i regret it.............
I bought Frontier: First Encounters brand new many years ago but got frustrated with how buggy it was (had to do some batch file editing to get it working, if I remember correctly) and returned it a day or two later. I downloaded the "demo" years later and played it to pieces with JJFFE, which fixed a ton of bugs. I finally got another boxed copy, and although the box is a bit worse for wear everything else is in good shape. I just wish they wouldn't have removed single player from Elite: Dangerous. I might've even played it.
