hurts to read all these stories i regret selling 2 cib mint copies of Amazing Tater and Fish Dude (NTSC, gameboy games) for about $30 each, when i later found out they were damn rare
I sold my Amiga 500 with lots of equpment for it, e.g. a 120 MB (!!!) harddisk that you could stick into the left side, you could even hook up an external floppy to the hard disk! And my old 20MB hard disk that was bigger than the Amiga itself (click: http://www.amiga-resistance.info/display_photos/boil_3.jpg ). Or an A570 CD-ROM, made the Amiga to a CDTV. Boxes full of games, demos and stuff, all from my father in law back then. For 20€... what a moron i was. :dammit:
First car... sorta. Was a 200SX in white, saved up for ages, got it when I was 17 and sold it because the insurance was £5,600. In hindsight should have just stored it for a couple years... Also, basically sold complete PS1 SDK for about £230 or something daft. 4 yrs ago had the sound card with it, the boards, ports, a disc of software that i couldn't figure out, external CD drive all in OEM packaging, I just couldn't be bothered to sort it out. Think it really was the complete kit aside from the actual PC.
I didn't sell but I gave away my copy of FF7 to a friend at college as I have no interest in FF games, I might as well play chess. I reget giving it away though, I could of made some money on it, I guess i'm just too nice for my own good at times.
During difficult period , i should resell a part of my Dreamcast Collection (S.T.A.R.S , Partners , etc...) fortunately if could get back most of them to my home during these last years. I also sold one Metal Slug for a cheaper price than now and one Panzer Dragoon Orta Xbox System. Generally i never sell anything (there is some people like this) but this time i didn't have any choices. Fortunately i could also buy new gorgeous items since this crisis time
I regret GIVING my N64 beta Golden Eye cart away slap on Face (sob sob) then after being offered over £500 for it Damn it
Well I dont really sell my consoles, But I did have one of my favorite consoles stolen,I bought a blue Gameboy "Classic Edition" while we were on holiday in Switzerland , I was 12 at the time ,I literally had my parents go into every store that we passed till I found one I could afford, it was my first handheld , and I only owned two games for it, Paper Boy, and SpeedBall (cant remember the title) , I had tuns of fun on Paper boy and really loved the system.A few years later we went on vacation again, my sisters "best friend" at the time who was supposed to look after the house decided to hold a house party, and as a result a lot of things got stolen, including my gameboy. While I did buy a GBA SP a few years later it wasnt the same feeling I got when I hunted down that GB, might replace it eventually but I doubt it will be the same as the thought will allways linger in the back of my mind.
Everything that isn't a part of my collection anymore; GB, NES, SNES, PSX, N64, PS2, Gamecube, GBA, XBox and PSP games...Still have a Dreamcast and a bunch of games tough. I've started collecting new PSX games recently. These will never EVER get sold!!! (Just like my Wii games)
my very first gameboy... The amount of countless numbers of hours i spent playing Mario on it.. MEMORIES
yeah, i wish i still owned some of my original consoles. although, i didn't have too much growing up. i mostly played at friends' houses or borrowed consoles.
Giving away my eu power modded jap snes with a pro fighter 32m because i had the snes emus on xbox1 and throwing out all my ps1 collection because i got fed up of looking at it and lastly selling my eu panzer saga for crap all
My (not so large) psx collection, all known titles like Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot etc. Sold for almost nothing, because I decided to try and get them all again in sealed condition. (Which turns out to be a lot harder than I had previously thought.) :banghead:
Woulda made more sense to sell them one by one as you get them sealed  Though I guess you wanted some money to use for pursuing all sealed set. Then again, if you were willing to let it all go for cheap you must have not anticipated them costing much. Always good to do research.
Barely sold anything ever because I always regret it Sold a mint boxed copy of snes Starfox for £2, not a massive loss but it was a hell of a lot better than the yellowed unboxed one I have now. I did also chuck away a bunch of amiga 500 games because i thought the floppies were screwed. Turned out the floppy drive was just in need of some maintenance
I very much regret selling my copies of Super Smash Bros. and Mega Man Zero, complete in box, etc. And I still haven't really replaced them - got a cart-only copy of Smash Bros., I can play MMZ via the Zero Collection for DS, but those aren't true replacements... Besides those, I kinda regret getting rid of my original, complete, black GBA after I got both a DS and GB micro, but that's mainly for reasons of nostalgia, seeing how my GBA SP is much more practical. (I also regret throwing game and system packaging away when I was younger - my N64's comes to mind -, but that's a different story :banghead
I still have everything, I have never sold a game ever . I have some hoarding issues, but it runs in the family.
Mine are selling my StarWing compeition Cart & My GBA SP unit. I only paid £6 for the StarWing Cart but still its a right find!
Burnout 3 on PS2, I know it's not rare, and it's a EA title still, it was a game that I really loved when I was in school.
