    Virtua Fighter 2
    Fighting Vipers
    Viruta Striker
    Vritual On
    Sonic the Fighters

And we already have a better than Arcade Perfect Daytona.

I hope for Wave Runner and Sega Touring Car Championship in the future but that's asking too much.

This is something I've been wanting for years, so glad it's finally happening. Personally I'd like to see Fighter's Megamix, but I'm guessing these are arcade ports and not Saturn ports?

That's great. Here's hoping they release Sega Rally and Indy 500 as well.

Sega Rally would be awesome I'm holding out some hope for some Model 3 games in the near future too.

Am I the only one who's underwhelmed? Yeah, VF2, Fighting Vipers and Virtual On, awesome but Virtua Striker and Sonic the Fighters: why? StF is terrible and VS isn't exactly that good either. Oh, and I wouldn't count on Sega Touring Car or Rally being released any time soon because of the licensing issues with car manufacturers...Indy 500 maybe, since that license is probably worth like a cup of coffee at this point.

Well, the main thing I get from it is that Virtua Striker and Sonic Fighters were two AM2 games that never got ported to the Saturn, so I guess it's a way of giving people the home port they never not. I'm not sure they're worth the price though so it's deffinately questionable in that regard, but I can deffinately understand why they would want to release these two titles.

That's a bit of a stretch, StF was already released on the Sonic Gems Collection and the Saturn came out close to 20 years ago (geez), so people have probably gotten over not having those two games on it.

Sonic fans will eat up Sonic the Fighters.

If there are Sonic 06 fans then there has to be a few Sonic the Fighters fans too.

Wouldn't mind some HoTD myself. Played the ever living hell out of HoTD2 and am finding Overkill to be cheesy enough to be highly enjoyable.

It's a nice collection but you know why it's these games they are porting, don't you? They have all been released on other formats. VF2 and Fighting Vipers will be ports of the PlayStation 2 version, Sonic the Fighters will be from the Game Cube and Virtual Striker will probably be based upon the Dreamcast game. Oh, and Virtua On is already available on the 360. To be honest, these are all easy ports for Sega since they already have a way of porting PS2 stuff (NiGHTS) and Game Cube stuff (Sonic Adventure 2) and of course Dreamcast stuff. I doubt they'll be based upon the real model 2 code. This is probably why we won't see games that haven't been ported yet.

If there's a second batch I wouldn't be surprised to find Last Bronx in there since that would just be brought over from the PS2 as well. Oh, and digital download only is a very poor move for such a collection :( This is something Sega fans would pay for on real media with out a doubt.

I have to disagree with you Yakumo while it is true all of these games have been ported in the past, I think that the games in this model 2 collection will actually be based around the model 2 code (or a highly accurate replication of such code) this time around the bend, don't forget ElSemi (the author of the kick ass model 2 emulator) works for Sega now and I wouldn't put it past them to actually have him program separate emulation code for each game to work on PS3 and 360 since most of the work is already done.

Looks pretty cool, but why no widescreen? I thought Daytona looked amazing in widescreen. Maybe it's just in 4:3 for the promo video.
