It is easy, just add a jump wire from the gear shift pin(up or down, the one you prefer) and connect it to pin 35(if I remember well) of standard sega JVS i/o board, this way the shifter will have both function.
tried my 3 I/O (837-13551), none was working. Player 1 button 5 is working for all naomi games. as far as i remind button 5 is working with VirtuaStriker 2002 (triforce) maybe may i update my triforce? about my triforce mobo: boot: 2.03 firm: 0.36 fpga: 7.09 firm media board: 1.01 firm network: 11.01 is there any (safe) way to update a triforce mobo? I've read somewhere that VirtuaStriker 2006 update the mobo, but after update, all other games (but VS2006) dont work. is it right ? mathieulh, merci pour l'info, je te MP pour avoir quelques infos supplementaires
Hum... I am using a type3 triforce, that might be the difference, as Mario Kart isn't meant to run on Type 1 units (from your firmware versions I assume you are running on type1, I might be wrong though)
this triforce is type 3, not type 1. I have a type 1, i tried, it won't boot, it stop on a black screen.
Is there a way I can buy the stuff from ebay to play Mario Kart GP without buying the entire unit? I don't know much about arcades but if someone could help me out and tell me what I need to buy that would be awesome.. I am guessing I will need something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/NAMCO-256-S...ultDomain_2&hash=item27ba6cc6b4#ht_629wt_1139 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/TEKKEN-4-Sy...ultDomain_0&hash=item19cc512f0c#ht_500wt_1180 with that said.. I am guessing I will need some sort of controllers that will work??
Hello knowledgeable people! I have a few questions. Apologies if they're daft, but before I go and splurge a load of cash on pointless hardware and incur the wrath of my usually calm and understanding girlfriend; I thought I should just confirm some details. Mario Kart runs on a Triforce 3 board and therefore I will not require a separate netdimm unit to play games over a network. Is that correct? Will FZero AX / Mario Kart GP2 / Avalons / Virtua Striker run on this board also? To enable network games, i would need a zero'd netpic chip (a bit like this one http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Sega-Naomi-Chihiro-Triforce-GD-Netbooting-Security-Chip-/180654890640) and set the jumper on the mainboard to allow netbooting games. Is this correct? So, assuming I already have the games, I would need a netpic and a type 3 mainboard. I understand that you can get various versions - Furthermore, I understand that 'Export' is generally considered the version to get. Is there any way to change the version when you get it - or does each version have a slightly different firmware? How do you hook up a card-reader to the Triforce to enable save games? Can you run the Triforce to an LCD TV and if so, via what connection? VGA? If so, where - and how - is sound outputted? Apart from a control system (which, amazingly, I don't have any questions on, YET), am I missing anything obvious? Many thanks and apologies for the mind-numbingly daft and numerous, questions. Hectic
Triforce running on the Wii may be of interest to you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4ZgC6bw4OU (skip to the end)
!!! fyi apparently it isn't related to the DiosMiosLite hack, but it is definitely mario kart gp on a wii, hope it comes soon
thats the question why I opened this thread but it sadly turns into a thread about the TRIFORCE Arcade System
from gbatemp: I'm guessing the whole 'no game is playable' relates to the work that would be needed to feed input in
Whoa... that's awesome. That might actually be worth soft-modding my Wii for. I played this game in an arcade in Florida recently. It's a pretty fun game.
playing it on dolphin would be cool. but i dont have any clue how to decrypt the triforce images without the key or something.
