Personally, I'd prefer a standard jewel case. Under Defeat is a fanastic game, but man, that DVD case seems so out of place on my DC collection shelf....

 

I just love the Cosmic Smash dvd case, I should have bought one back in the day...

 

@Yakumo will you be able to beat the $69.90 for the L.E (Normal price -$10 with coupon) at Play Asia?

Nah the coupons they send out were like $10 off $50 and $15 off $100..

 

probably because I'll be using far better shipping than PlayAsia and their super slow free shipping service. But we'll have to wait and see what Sega Direct are doing in their set first. Play Asia haven't got a clue what they will be selling with their set so for all we know you may just get a sticker Unlikely but who knows.

Is there a new DC shooter every 6 months or what?

Seems like some consoles don't know when to quit.

 

Seems like the Naomi is still alive and kicking in the arcades.
Just got the latest issue of Arcadia and right away I noticed three Naomi titles featured (2 updates + 1 new game)...Jingi Storm, Guilty Gear Core, and Melty Blood Part B or whatever.
All of these are potential DC port candidates, though unlikely.

BTW, glad to hear pre-orders are open!

As much as I'm pleased to see another Dreamcast release (even though Radilgy was supposedly the last before Sega ended GD-ROM production - so much for that rumour!), why do they have to be NAOMI ports of second rate shmups? How about something a little more different next time, like maybe a few Atomiswave conversions? On the other hand, if Sega keep this up it's possible the Dreamcast will overtake SNK's only console as the hardcore system of choice... though with its existing back catalogue you could argue that such an honour may already be under its belt!

With the official game coming in a DVD style case like Under Defeat I've taken it upon myself (like Under Defeat) to make CD style covers for Trigger Heart so that it fits in with the rest of your Dreamcast collection.

So far I've completed the front and almost done the spine. I'll start on the back this week. All covers will be available for download in 300dpi resolution once the game is released.
