Finally some free time to post pictures of Trigger Heart. First up is a picture of the 1st shipment that came last night around 8pm. As you can see, my dinning room is now the packing station. Inside the set from me you get the following - Game, OST and Booklet (inside the game box), phone card, poster, sega coin and Retro Core DC Shooting DVD. Inside the DVD case you can find the instruction booklet with the special info booklet behind that and the OST behind the game GDROM. Here are the instruction booklet and special information booklet. Inside the special booklet you can see original sketches and game info. Now you are probably wanting to knwo just what had the DC version got extra on the game. Well, I have no idea yet since I've had no time to play it. Needless to say I'll be on it all day tomorrow Yakumo
I think the booklet is kinda weak. Not that I bought it for that, but hey. And the poster...well...another one to stick in the closet.
 The old sods were well pissed off but I was laughing as it was my sweet revenge for all the time the bastards push in front of me at the train station or any other line I've ever been in waiting  Actually I had to go around the back to the loading bay with the car to unload everything (186 boxes in total after 2 trips). The manager took control of the operation which was surprising. Total postage was a whopping 152'000 yen !! I thought a few people might want to see the normal and special editions next to each other for comparison. Yakumo
182 boxes means you took 182 orders? Shit! Guess that car came in handy. I'd be making some serious fucking trips to the post office. Here is a nice scan of the LE, and some comments of mine on the game.
no, I took over 200 orders. Some people ordered more than one copy. I've also added scans of the covers, booklet, CD, phonecard and poster tyo my site along with my comments Yakumo
Got most of them out on the 22nd with about 30 or so going out today. I took two paid days off work to get them all done. My fingers are really messed up. I'm not looking forward to Karasu in two weeks. Then again, I'll have help for that one and the boxes will be smaller so it shouldn't be as bad. Time for a nice cold can of Asahi Super Dry I think. I'd rather have Kirin Classic larger but we've got none. Oh well.. I've made CD style covers for Trigger Heart if anyone is interested in keeping all of their DC games together. I'll put my original DVD case along side Under Defeat, Cosmic Smash and the other few DVD cased games in to storage while the game disc can stay with my collection in it's new cover. FRONT COVER BACK COVER SPINE CARD Yakumo
Yes, it's very good. Complete sell out at Sega Direct. In favt it wass this weeks 8 the best selling title in Japan ! Yakumo
Dreamcast releases are like buses, you wait ages for one and then two come along at once... Although as a strange fact, since 2005 all DC releases have been in Feburary, March and and April... So can we expect another game in the next month or so? Or will some company port yet another shooter early next year? Which will give the DC a 10 year life span.
Do you guys have Natural Lawson in Shimonoseki? They sell Hoegarden at mine. I've been having one or two a night the last few weeks... developing a bit of a belly. So fucking good. It's so hard to find import beer in stores here (other than Heineken).
Nah, we don't have one in Shimonoseki (this is a 7 eleven and Family Mart city mostly) but there is one in Hakata that I may pass next week. Surprisingly the 7 eleven around the corner from my place sells a few import bottled beers, Carlsberg, Budweiser or piss in a bottle as I like to call it, Lowenbrau, Guinness and of course Heineken. I'm mostly on the Carlsberg myself but I'd love to try out some of that Hoegarden. Hey, have you ever been to the beer village in Kobe? It's part of the international town. They've got some wonderful European beers/lagers there. Yakumo
Yakumo-sama: Carlsberg is usually a pilsner, if I remember right, but I don´t drink beer. But damn, you are doing a fine job with helping those people who want those games. I salute you for that. And you have done it before, and at the same time. You are earning an additional yen on the side of it.
Sorry to bring this thread up again, but I just picked up this game new. It is the normal edition and it came with a telephone card which is different to the Sega Edition one. (For picture see http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=205763&postcount=217) One thing I noticed though is the fact that the normal edition seems to be a lot rarer then the limited edition one, apart from the new copy I have, I have seen 1 (yes thats right one) copy second hand in the mountains (and there are mountains of them) of the limited edition copies in second hand shops as Japanese shop don't tend to stock pile games behind the counter it seems odd. Anyone know sales figures for the game? I have a feeling they released more LE copies of the game then the "Normal" edition... Thoughts?
