Perhaps we should wait for some actual figures on that rather than rampant speculation

How do you know how powerful the Revolution is? You still going off of that supposedly leaked document? No one knows the power of the system, other then it will probably be less then the other 2

Dude I think rampant speculation are those guys with the $900 PS3.

And honestly I dont know about any document, I know about an interview with the guys of Ati saying that from the specs given by nintendo revo shouldnt be more than 2 times the power of the GC.

I don't see how an extra delay is bad for the game. Its an good thing as long as the game launches at some point. More time = Better game. Or at least better then the version that would have been released withouth the delay.

I agree. Half Life 2 was well worth the wait.

Props to Kammedo for this link

Those prices in that PDF dont seem too far off the mark to me. Thats not saying Sony will sell it at $900, just a ballpark figure as to what it would cost to manufacture given current prices on the parts they want to put in it. Its not set in stone its just the best they can figure given the information they have.

Um... If that's a joke, it's not remotely funny. Leave that kind of crap at gamefaqs...

Yeah but HL1 was "Teh" PC game, and their expansions have more traffic in internet that any other game.

On the other side the zelda buyers are not even the shadow they were in the years of OoT

Yeah my gagnsta jokes kinda suck, sorry.....

well, since the Revo should be 100% backwards compatible with every little piece of hardware known on the planet (nintendo hw of course), i dont see a problem for the Big N on that side at all..

    Huh?

I fail to see how that statment impacts my opinion that HL2 kicks ass and was well worth the delays.

    K.....

The thing is everybody with a PC was waiting for HL2, it was the most anticipated sequel ever (halo doesnt count cuz it was 100% hype by MS) while zelda is only anticipated by old school gamers and fanboys alike.

In the case of HL2 valve could delay it a year more if they wanted, but with nintendo they have to be pretty careful about not bursting the hype bubble.

"and one of the most important features is that, because Revolution can run Gamecube software, when you play Twilight Princess on the Revolution you can take advantage of the Revolution controller"

I would much rather play Zelda: TP now rather than some half arsed "enhanced" version that will play on the GC and the Revolution months down the line. Since the Revolution will be backwards compatible, that is enough for me. I don't need some tarted up gimic bonus to make me want to buy it.

What has happened to Nintendo? They seem intent on rehashing their software so much that they're rehashing something that hasn't even been released yet!

Revolution software should be exactly that IMO.

I am betting it will be released as a Revolution only title in the end.

I think that would kill Nintendo. If they did that, they would piss off so many people, and there would likely be a "migration" from Nintendo to others like years before.

Of course the die-hard Nintendo Fanboys would still buy it and get deluded and think Nintendo made the "right" choice in the end.

There the possibility of that, indeed, but as you say the fanboys would still get it, and honestly the casuals looking for the game gave up after the 2nd delay.

They've been pissing all over Europe for years with their attitude towards this market but they still get the sales. I doubt it would affect them that much ultimately, it would just annoy people.

I agree, any real damage nintendo could do to their user base is already done, in fact I think nintendo users have gone trought more deception than SEGA ones, the problem is that in every nintendo forum in the world, the concept of "complaint" is seen as a sin against god and his prophet, miyamoto:lol:

Just because its abit more powerfull doesnt mean it will cost alot more. Its still new and its not like its using mass produced off the shelf parts.
