SO I got my magic keys today........they didn't quite fit right so I had to order this:

    http://www.estarland.com/Playstation2.cat..product.23324.html

    Dreamcast.......Still don't have a boot disc.

XBOX and XBOX 360.....forget about it.

    Wii.......nintendo are Nazis

    Gamecube........Freeloader and you're good.

We need to spam for region free gaming.

Dreamcast just needed DC-x, how is that any different then Gamecube, other then it being older? Or the PS1 for that matter.

As for a Dreamcast boot disc, have you gone to MegaGames.com? They have several boot discs, so you can burn a couple of them and odds are that if a game doesn't work with one it'll work with the other. Utopia works with most games, anyway.

And what about the Saturn? All you need is an Action Replay or something similar.

You know in my rage I forgot about Saturn
I'm just generally annoyed right now.

SNES and N64 weren't bad if you have pliars if I recall.

I use the Gameshark method for my Dreamcast and well it works.......and it doesn't

if you read my other dreamcast thread you'll know i'm on my 2nd dreamcast

my first one I bought modded.......From Buy rite......that explains why that one died

my curant one was sitting outside at a flea market for god knows how long and has some rust and the discs skip while playing music some times. About 5 games won't boot at all or boot and are unplayable.

    Uh oh?!?!?!......

PS3 > Dreamcast as regards to being import friendly :p

Universal power supply and no region coding.

Apart from when you want to play PS2 or PS1 games or if you want to watch a DVD or BR film. Apart from that it's brilliant.

GC is not that import friendly. Freeloader/AR can't play many games in my experience. A region switch is only ideal for NTSC machines/NTSC imports.

PS3 is the most import-friendly machine, by default.

xbox is the most region friendly console imho as most games dont even have region encoding on them, or doing a simple softmod takes less than 5 mins which opens up a whole new world for gaming on it, also the 360 has a fair few region free games as well, which is ideal for us pal users as can get games sometimes months before UK release

all my import cube games work on my cube no problem with my freeloader.

So I read up on Estarland and aside from a few Jadded idiot customers which I see everywhere. they seem legit they've been around for 16 years somebody who writes for Gamespot uses them. SO I think I'm good.

Toys N Joys however......You have to threaten to break their legs to get them to send your games out.

Donkey Konga doesnt work right on the Gamecube, it cant save ;) The only import I still have so.

And surprisingly, my DC from Buyrite works, though it came with garbage controllers (official brand, but nonworking) and none of the games I wanted hah. Glad they are gone

How do these case replacements work in reguards to playing imports?

On the gamecube you can only save US & EUR on the same memorycard. Japanese games need their own memorycard!

About the Dreamcast bootdisc try this one:
    http://www.segaonline.nl/downloads/xploder.zip

works like a charm! burn with discjuggler
