I hate to do this and necro this thread, but I needed a laugh today and revisited this thread because of the pics some of us made up last year. I still laugh my ass off at the "MEC".

 

Because you did this I found one of the best threads on the whole forum. I almost think this should be stickied ╮(╯▽╰)╭

Well I thought digging it up would help the community as a whole, showing the funnier side of this stuff to new members.

 

I wish i was present during this, I have so many images I can make but the time for it has passed.

 

I need to dust off Photoshop and get on this. Used to use it all the time to make text art and comedy photos. I think the worst Xbox story on the forum deserves it.

 

Some of us used paint to make them even crappier.

 

And here I thought potato pictures couldn't get any worse..

 

I miss Japan vending machines.. I gotta go back there. some day.

Here in my country, Microsoft had very big event for Xbox MEC with Dwane "The Rock" Johnson and Bill Gates. It was private event for press and VIP people. No pictures on the internet of this event until now. A friend got these photos at the MEC event in 2000, before the Xbox launch. These are known and real prototype Xbox MEC photos that have never surfaced until this day. Very rare and saught after. This friend of mine also says he stole it directly from the stage from Dwane "The Rock" Johnson, just for me to have. Until then, here is the first photo of this private prototype MEC event for the Xbox in 2000.
