The PSX logos were once printed in the UK Edge magazine. I'm sure they were printed else where as well.
CD-ROM drive. http://nfggames.com/games/pce_protos/ Looking at the concept, it would appear they were originally planning to use those CDs that came sealed in a hard case (like a Mini Disc).
My contribution, the 32-bit NEC-Hudson Iron Man aka Tetsujin aka HuC62 from 1992: It's not exactly the same system as NEC PC-FX released in 1994, but rather, its ancestor.
Oh dude thats awesome. I never even heard of this. Do you see that space game? Mind blowing for 1992.. well maybe not, but still interesting. How about this find: PS. So glad we managed to create a new page. Those overly large sony logos were making my netbook hard to work with on this thread.
I'd hope that you've looked at my website? :033: (sorry for the obvious pimp opportunity) Seriously, ask me what you want to know and I can get answers directly from the guys that created all aspects of it, the programmers that wrote the software, factory workers where it was going to be built. Practically everyone from the CEO to the Tea lady. (This is what happens when you obscess about something for about 20 years! )
Usually prototypes look silly and awkward, but this design is way more appealing than the "gray boxes" that were produced. :love2:
