    (my ex-girlfriend loved X, though)

I think i can say my favorite is the original. What a great adventure.

I also think ff7 was really over-hyped. Of course, it was a great game, but its not the best rpg ever, nor the best final fantasy. I think its a bit like halo, lots of people discovered fps with halo, and they claim that its one of the best game ever, or the best fps game ever created, wich is false.

FF6 is a better game then FF7, but FF7 is a better RPG then FF6 imo (Hopefully that makes sense).

    6 / 7 > 10 > 8 > 9 > All others.

Are the SFC ones completable in under 30 hours? I don't have 50 hours to devote to a game, but I hear the early ones are quite good. I've only played VII and X. They were both not bad games I thought, but I did not ejaculate.

4 and 5 can be done in under 15 hours if you rush. 6 should easily be done in under 20.

6 is coming up for GBA.

I'm waiting for that one with serious anticipation.

Same here. The only remake I want more is Chrono Trigger.

    Let me see here....

I liked all FFs 1-6 about the same. I cant really decide on which of those I liked, since I liked them all a lot. I guess FF4 is the least liked out of them and FF5 is the most liked for me.

Out of the later generation ones, I liked 8 the least. I think 9 is better than 8, but I still prefer 7 over 9. And FFX....its ok, I guess. Havent played my copy of 10-2 yet. Probably dont wanna.

Yes, I played through FF8, but it bored me.

All this is my opinion, and you guys are entitled to yours. Everyone seems to swing a different way when it comes to FF games since some are so different.

You hit the nail directly on the head.

My thoughts exactly. Chrono Trigger would be the only thing more awesome than FF6 to be remade.

Yeah, but we all know that Squeenix is always putting a stop to remakes of that RPG, so we will shal a century or a millenia for a Chrono Trigger remake, or Squeenix goes bancrubt.
