    bad , bad mr.casual. :smt043

anyway, i do not ''enjoy suffering of others'' , were are you searching at , AW? i do know, like everyone does , the story of the attack with biological weapons. Sadam was a monster , indeed, but the thing is that bush killed other inocents in iraq , can you tell me for what? defence? because saddam was allied with ousama on 9/11? because they whanted to free iraq? bullshit. we all know the real reason, there's no way to denny it.

yes, but then why did bush didn't send troops in north corea? why did he didn't care about the ONU and still whanted to attack and take control of iraq saying lies about how sadam was conected with 9/11? why didn't they've tried to bring peace in north corea at the place of iraq? simply because there's no oil.

Civilian deaths are a tragic consequence of war. I think we can all agree to that. That being said let's be honest here. To even think of calling for war crimes is a joke. The US military does far more to minimize civilian deaths and respect the culture at the militaries cost than any other country. Look at Israel. They'll fire missiles into a crowded market on the hopes of hitting a terrorist leader. Look at Russia which is reported to have dropped FAE's on Grozny. Hell, Look at the UN when it's troops hid during the riots in Kosovo.

It would have been easy to carpet bomb the cemetery in Najaf which was a deathtrap for our marines. It would be easy to blockade Falluga and starve out the terrorists at the cost of civilians. We didn't though even at the cost of more of our soldiers lives. Can you really say that many other countries would do the same?

I say do you enjoy the suffering of others because you act like it is a bad thing that the US removed Saddam from power. Saddam killed innocents on purpose, without a care. The innocents that were killed "by Bush" were casualties of war. Innocents should never die, but some times it happens, and not on purpose. That is why your accusations of Bush killing innocents are incorrect. As for "the bullshit" the US went into Iraq to remove Saddam from power. He was a dangerous man, and he needed to be put down. This whole business of him "doing it for the oil" is the real bullshit.

North Korea is a much different case than Iraq. They are seen as a bigger threat, and as such they need to be dealt with in a different manner. If you watched the presidential debates (did it come on in Canada?) than you would know how Bush plans to deal with them. As for the "lies" I already pointed out that it was the intelligence's fault. The information Bush (and everyone else including Kerry) got was incorrect.

there's a site you can search for the correct stats...your site is an old hoax...Democrats think they're funny by making up number for the hoax every four years...I'll be happy to compare IQs to most democrats.

  9. As far as the war crimes thing goes: Yes, there have been the obvious Abu Ghirab violations by a small number of depraved individuals, which doesn't - or rationally shouldn't - reflect back on the administration. Also, there is the issue of collateral damage of death and injury to noncombatants, which is, as cold as it is to say so, a consequence of the war, and as someone pointed out, the US has been as careful as possible in minimizing the extent of this reality of battle - something car bombs and suicide bombers don't really worry about. Anyways, that's not the point. The point is, I belive (but am not entirely certain, the UN's website was obviously designed by a retarded monkey and is confusing as hell) that the one war crime charge that could possibly be brought against the president is that of war itself - I thought I read somewhere that for a member nation of the UN to declare war on another without the consent of the UN was illegal, or something like that. Again, I'm not totally sure, but it's about the only concret war crime charge that could be filed at this time.

Ah, my bad, sorry to let my real-life experiences get in the way of your opinions. All I've been seeing for the last four years of college is costs rising as programs are cut because there is not enough federal - and in turn, state - funding for schools to keep a lot of programs. My parents and younger brother are going to have to move, possibly to another state, because the No Child Left Behind act has essentially destroyed my old high school - with no imbellishment, imagine 2 teachers instructing about 60 students grades 7-12, with more funding being cut for next year. And did I mention that the school is the only reason why an entire town of 350 people exists in a remote part of Oregon, and without the school, the town would soon become deserted? I'm talking about families settled in the area for generations and fought off droughts and snowstorms, leaving because their kids aren't being educated, all thanks to No Child Left Behind.

And maybe it's not as noticeable in larger areas, but here, you can definately tell the economy's really, REALLY depressed. Stores closing, businesses cutting workers and not hiring, and from everyone, the same complaint: there's no money. It's me fighting for jobs each summer so I can pay off my increasingly expensive education, and being told by countless businesses, "Yeah, we'd love to hire you, but with the economy down, we don't have any money." I'm not one to look at the past through rose-colored glasses, but as far as both economy and education go, we've come a long way down since Clinton. :smt009

If we spent half the money towards education as we have on this misguided war, our national education system could rival the schools in China and Japan.

And as everyone's making predictions on what would happen if Hilary and Rudy ran for president... As much as a woman president would be neat to have, there's no way Hilary could take Rudy, because frankly, she's nuts. Where's Bill again when you need him?

GSL. Get out of Oregon, change your majors to one where job market is vibrant.

I'm gonna close my statements with this. The next 4 years will be different. Maybe worse, maybe better. You just have to have the dedication to get what you want because you still can don't believe the hype ;-).

We might have our differences but we all want one thing... a good happy life. We just have different ideas on achieving that ultimate goal.

I just gotta say something about that. They say dumb people are good at having common sense whereas smart people don't have a lot of common sense. Use common sense as to why they voted bush ;-). :smt043

Evangelion, you're avatar is broken. You generally can't host stuff on free servers. Use www.imageshack.us instead.

Of course, because stupid people have a better understanding of politics.

Whether either of those two pages are for real or not, it's pretty damn amusing. It would fit in a roundabout way to the inverse relationship between religious faith and intelligence, which is conclusively documented.

    How true.

I'm glad the stem cell measure passed in California. It is one of the major things I disagree with the president on. While I respect the beliefs of both the president and the many people that disagree on the issue I don't think religion should come anywhere near science. The argument the people shouldn't have to pay for research they don't believe in doesn’t hold up for me either. There are plenty of things I don't want to pay for (taxes in general come to mind :-D ) but there is Uncle Sam every week nonetheless with his hand out. I think it was Chris Rock that said it best. "The government doesn't ask you for your money. It straight up jacks you for it."

The next four years will be different.

    They sure will.

You think the things you care about are screwed up now, just wait and see what happens.

A lot of people are going to tell people like me to "love it or leave it." Well, I'm not leaving, prescicely because I love it. I'm going to stay and fight.
