He was aware of the burning down of entire cities, the raping of innocent women, the killing of anyone sympathizing with the enemy, and the utter disregard for human life in general...I'm glad he was able to win the war as it gave freedom to people who otherwise prob still wouldn't have it...see any similarities??? The things going on now are unpopular, it's polarizing the country (has any good change ever came from a society who all thought the same way?) but the final product years from now will be looked back on in a positive light...not only by us but by those that are freed and made safer by the end result of an unfortunately bloody war...
