Metal Jesus hasn't been giving us any updates because he's not a regular Assembler user, simple as that.

 

I think he reads somewhat regularly, he's mentioned it before this video IIRC.

Still, as long as there's some updates posted by other members I don't care, Jason is busy making great videos

Ah. Can it be that he's the one who bought the other 64DD dev discs on Ebay as well? He's kinda wealthy isn't he?

 

I never thought he was, considering they film with an iPad sometimes(of all god damn things), and use some ancient macbook for I assume editing I caught in a vid a while ago. Or maybe he is and all the money goes to games =P

Yeah, it was a second angle camera, it showed up in the primary camera's view a couple times. I know it's just Youtube but it still made me want to puke. I mean seriously, anything but one of those fucking things. It's bad enough you see people taking pictures with them, but to see it pop up in a popular Youtube channel as a video recorder? It's a slap in the face to people who are actually into filming.

 

I'm sure there are worse things in the world.

 

Of course there isn't. Grainy video about a dev unit is waaaaay more serious and is the worse thing.

I think he's just using an iPad because it's hit Record, pug into Mac and done. Just to chop and organize and upload.
But yeah, I think he isn't poor, as all his friends are picky on prices, but he's always paying what it costs if the price is ok and he wants it.
Did he play in a band, at some game related company or something, and now works for his wife? I'd love to know actually.
Anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if he got the taste for that "possessing an rare obscure item everybody wants" feeling, and just bought all that was. Cuz I think there was a 3 or 4 carts around about then??
