ASSEMbler, please let us know what type they are, Qoob Pro would be better, but I'd still take some SX version chips when you find out.

Sorry guys there were none of those old expensive chips in the box.

I do have 30 or so xenos, some duo x3 xbox chips, and
    some ps2 ones (modbo 4.0).

Other than that it's some antiques I wouldn't sell.
    (plugmods)

I still have xenos for sale.

I got the Xeno in the mail today! I'll solder it in sometime this week and post again to let you guys know if it works! It seems to be in perfect condition, in it's tiny anti-static packet. Thanks Assembler for putting up with my ignorance on AIM >.>

Assembler: How much for a PS2 chip?

Also, anyone feel free to answer this one. I installed the XenoGC chip on my US console, red light glows and it loads imports (tried Biohazard). However, I cannot get to the Xeno screen (press start during disc load). Is that due to the bios on the chip, or is the chip not all the way installed even though it loads imports?

PM me, I don't plan on selling ps2 stuff, but whatever I have I will sell until it's gone.

If you hold start on boot it should give you the bios info. Xeno is super basic chip,
it gets the job done but don't expect fancy options like on a viper.

well red light is always bad, sounds like the hardware installation went wrong...somewhere

otherwise you can try and flash the bios again

There was no flash update for XenoGC, however a Red light can mean that it's failing to upload the drive code to the drive. I would re-check your soldering. Also if they're XenoGC of the later firmware type, they may have Red and Orange LEDs which are sometimes hard to tell apart. If you are indeed seeing orange, it's good, it simply means, try better media as the one you've tried is failing to read.
