VF5 Final Showdown confirmed for PSN/XBL Summer 2012.

OK we should all say FUCK you to Sega for the fact this is a downloadable game and it should be retail after all Virtual on Force could have been an XBLA game and it got a retail release but I guess we should take what we can get.

I own almost every console version of VF except for Kids, and I don't really like what they did from 4 onwards. To me, it seems like they sort of broke with the colorful, happy look of the first 3 and went for a much more gritty, realistic look. I don't think that look fits VF at all. Well, I'll probably end up buying it anyway. Sigh.

eeehh, nope. I don`t know how much effort went in by the vf-fanbase but sega was everything else than nice to the vf-players outside japan. I`m talking about virtua fighter R or the revision D for vf5 which we never saw

is it also hitting the Ps3? I have the original VF5 on the PS3 and i like it alot - i know the 360 version offers some improvements, it is based on a later version anyway.

I still need to pick up a copy of the Japanese version of Sonic CD. It's a bit on the pricey side though. At least, compared to the US version it is. It does seem like one of those games I ought to own, considering I have the hardware for it.

 

I bought the Japanese Sonic Gems JUST to have the Japanese soundtrack

 

If you have Sonic Gems, then why do you need the XBLA version?

 

Why do you think I have 3 versions of Ikaruga?

anyways I have all the other sonics on XBLA plus the Genesis collection PLUS the XBOX sonic and so on

most of the things I listed were disc format

 

I had the japapense version of gems for gc but had to sell it when I was unemployed. Seems like it's much harder to come by now. But I am happy about this vf announcement, bummer we got wait a year but I imagine they just got started on it and trying to make it the ultimate version.

 

Yeah Alot of us assume just because it's on similar hardware a port is a breeze we forget that somethings need to be added/changed

 

A port can take time, but...a year? You could make a whole new game in a year.

 

I'm still baffled as to why this is an XBLA release It also baffles me why Virtual ON Force is a retail disc when the game it self is less than 500mb (I did a HD install)
