I m not making a poll because obvioulsy there are tons of variations of the same thing out there, so feel free to include any specific version of a console you want.

Consoles+add-ons also count (n64+64DD, a personal favourite), and so does the Divers Dreamcast and Panasonic Q, and pretty much everything from the Odysey to the Sega Tera Drive and the Ps3.

Keep in mind that development kits are not within your options.

Unreleased versions of hardware and consoles might be mentioned as an after-thought to your main nominee.

    Let's hear it [IMG]

For me personally the Wii has been my crush since I saw its first render on the internet (still can't decide between black or white [IMG] )- i might change my mind when i hold it in my hands however - followed closely by the n64+64DD and the white SEGA SATURN.

Sexy basic model has got to be the Dreamcast. Powerful yet not a bloody whopping brick like the PS2 or XBOX. Stylish unlike the Cube and all round pleasing to the eye. Now the grey Saturn........ That's Ugly. Well, not as bad as other systems but still not that nice due to the colour.

i like the genesis 2 with sega cd 2 combo alot, the 32x on top of them is too much.
The dreamcast is great looking too, it looks like one of the last true gaming machine, design-wise.

The xbox 360 is sleek, but Nintendo (for the first time ever, imo) Wins the design of the gen, the Ps3 look quitetly grows on you, just like the ps2 one, but its still uninspired and spiderman copied.

Hmm, of the "next" generation PS3 looks the sexiest to me. I love the reflective surface on the black, it has got some great curves and it dares to look striking and aggresive. 360 is just bland, Wii really appeals to me and I love the stand, but the PS3 has the aesthetic edge for me.

I might have said that the Q was the best looking console I owned a while ago, but now that I have put on the GB player it has lost a lot of it's charm. In fact it totally kills the aesthetic, but I do love GBA games on a big screen...

PSP - sexiest handheld by a long way, the first time I saw the screen in action (lumines) I was in love. While the design is very flawed it does look wonderful.

Anyway, my vote actually goes for the slimline ceramic white PS2. It is sitting opposite me right now and for simplicity, size and design it looks so right. It has to be vertical with the correct colour stand though. It has a good degree of style, the ridges on the front and the top and the small band of reflective plastic next to the disc drive are the only elements of unnecessay design, and I feel they work quite well. When it runs, it is quiet enough and the bright LED finish it off nicely.

Also an lesser vote to the original PS2 with external HDD, again, I just love the bold design, although the original PS2 was a little "over" designed for me.

Simple, masculine and modern. Good enough for me.

you do realize that the BETAMAX , the NES and PS2 all share the same design philosophy right? So although I "like" Ps2, I actually like the NES more (Within the same design philosophy)

Mega Drive 1+Mega CD 1 is the ultimate combo. Full of that great Late 80s/early 90s styling.
Original PCEngine + CD-ROM2 briefcase setup is pretty good too.
Supergrafx Is just too damn sexy for words
N64 For some Reason I find strangely alluring, but I peronally think the DD ruins the styling.

Whilst the console is nothing special designwise, the box for the Super Famicom has me wetting myself everytime I see it. I'm quite tempted to get one off eBay and sell the console :laughs:
DC I find boring, and saturn is too boxy for my likings. Don't get me started on the orignal PS2 or XBOX, but I find the slim PS2 pretty nice looking, quite sleak and subdued.

AGB. It was badass! Never understood why they bothered with the SP, that was just awkward. I would've been glad to buy a AGB with backlight! (settled for the afterburner though).

Close second would have to be the White Sega Saturn. Mmmhm.

for sexiest "unreleased console", it would have to be a close call for me between the Indrema and the 3DO/Panasonic M2 (black version).

for sexiest "released console", I have to go for the Sega Genesis design 2. That was just a downright sexy system from the land of sexyness.

for sexiest handheld, the psp hands down baby. :love2: there's just no other handheld I'd choose.

A lot of girls are sexy, I can't think of a console that comes close to being 'sexy'.

My vote goes to the Sony PSP. That is one very nicely designed machine and it's obvious a lot of money has gone into it. Bravo!
