I have a feeing this game I bought off Steam may be biggest bunch of wank ever released on PC. Played the first hour, it was all I could stand.
Nintendo 64 - MRC Playstation 2 - D-Unit XBOX 360 - Sonic 2006 XBOX - 182 Ride or Die Playstation 2 - Rush: The Rock - The port was horrible.
I'd have to really think about it honestly. 98% of the NES, PS1, PS2, Wii, SNES, Genesis libraries are utter garbage. The XBox, N64, Dreamcast, and GameCube had plenty of mediocre titles but few I'd title the same.
I've played lots of really bad games, but one that comes to mind is Batman Forever for the Genesis. That game is fucking unplayable, looks like dog shit, and makes no fucking sense whatsoever. I actually own that awful game. I'd have to play it again to remember exactly what was so horrible about it, but I remember that it used like 3 different shades of gray and one or 2 shades of red, and that was pretty much its color pallet. It reused the same backgrounds over and over again. Also, it was never clear where you were supposed to go or what you were supposed to do, so you had to just walk around randomly pressing buttons until something happened.
As many have said, there are loads of really shitty games but one that will ALWAYS be in my mind is the utter crap known as Cosmic Race for the PlayStation. This racing game is so shit, you actually have no idea what the hell you are doing or where you are going. Yakumo
At least the FMV games were so bad they cross right over to good again. I dare anyone to find anything enjoyable about a generic 3D platformer from the 1995-98 dark age.
Intresting responses xD ! other crap games i own or played are Trevor mcfur Jaguar Checkered flag Jaguar Evolution dino dudes Jaguar Tomb raider the last Revelation Dreamcast spirit of speed 1937 Dreamcast Soul Fighter Dreamcast Kung food Lynx No one lives forever PS2 Blockout Megadrive Andre agassi tennis Megadrive Dick Vatale's college hoops megadrive Ski Air mix ps1 Simpsons wrestling ps1 Ducati world Dreamcast Jeremy mcgraths supercross 2000 dreamcast L.A rush ps2 < massive disappointment darwin award lol Aero Gauge n64 Air boarder n64 G.A.S.P n64 Daikatana n64 Cyberia saturn Iron angel of the apocalyse 3DO Whirl tour gamecube Greg hastings paintball max GBA Coded arms contagion PSP Moto gp N-gage virtua tennis N-gage
As the Angry Video Game Nerd would say, "what they were thinking?!?" Is it true that it borrows 3D graphics from the PS Devkit? Can someone confirm that? I just hope you don't own that, Yakumo. Haha
< agreed the only 2 games in this post that i have owned and played that i like are True crime new york city and John woos Stranglehold pretty much 99% of the other games in this post are to be avoided like a plague or just for laughing at how bad they were programmed by lazy programmers.
I bought a PlayStation on day of release in Japan (yes, I was here then) and the only games I had were Ridge Racer which was excelent and two really shit games being Cosmic Race in the video above and some God awful FPS called Crime Crackers or something. I still have both of those shitty games somewhere in my storage room.
HATED Brutal Legend, it was the first game I ever played that I quit playing in disgust, don't even think I made it halfway, the tower defense aspect was asine and stupid. Jack Black sucks too. Picked up Bulleststorm for $10, only thing I have to say positive about it is that I dug the combo system. I thought that was interesting spin on a generic FPS.
Another absolute piece of crap on ps1 that i have owned was so bad i commited RAGE on the disk and threw it like a frisbee at a tree smashing the disc to pieces was The Guardian of Darkness by Cryo interactive its alot worse then megarace 3 on ps2 ! i kept its case for a much more worthy game "Quake 2"
*waves brazilian flag* At least the Data East arcade games sold for it contains a very good emulator, which emulates even neo-geo, Capcom Play System 2, etc (?). It's a shame that you have to jailbreak it since it's a digital distribution console only, and you need to execute a lot of hacks to run unsigned code. And since only one sole programmer is interested in working on it, well... SFII on the hacked commercial emulator: I wonder why "Press zeebo button 1 or 2" appears on the emulated game. But it is surely a very crappy video game console, and it was discontinued recently, so new games == JTAG only haha And I assume that you hate SONY as much as GodOfHardcore now because of those launch titles. Oh the horror hahaha
