You have to assume I can figure the play mechanics out by the time I figure out what I'm doing I'm on the floor convulsing and foaming at the mouth.
Even though TR games are one of my most favorites but Tome Raider Underworld was the worst I played in past few years. Too many glitches, awful animation (very fast and unrealistic),ugly looking character, invisible walls, linear gameplay . Very disappointing actually. Will be waiting for the new one
I actually thought Sonic 3D Blast was pretty fun. It's not really a Sonic game, but still fun. I haven't played it in a long time, mainly because I'd like to try out the Saturn version, which I don't currently own.
I have not tried that either but Sonic 3D Blast is a better then average Genesis game IMO its alot better then the likes of Shaq Fu, Rise of the robots ,Dick Vatales college hoops,Blockout ,Andre Agassi Tennis and Action 52.
Here's another stinker: Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire for PS3, complete stinker. Made Gundam fans cry.
If you're picky and didn't play it when it first came out you now know why you don't like it. When it came out nothing in the FPS console realm could support 16 players let alone on 4 different TVs. Combine that with the fact that all you needed was off the shelf switches and ethernet cables and you had a pretty sweet LAN party before LAN parties were a thing. It also was a pretty good game all things considered. Now everyone and their mother has cloned the aspects that made it Halo. OTOH if you said "I don't get why everyone hyped Halo 2 because it sucked", you'd be right. But calling Halo the worst you've played on the XBox just tells me your sample size for the XBox must be really, really small.
Whats the problem? It looks almost the same as all Gundam on PSP (and there's A LOT of them) and they were very sucessful in Japan Well ... they are not Armored Core: Project Phantasma (my favourite mecha-stuff-related-shooter) but i've enjoyed'em
Taxi 2 Le Jeu on dreamcast, worst £50 I ever spent. If I had any sense I would sell it, but alas I'm a looney dreamcast collector haha. Bubsy 3D on the ps1 was pretty awful too
Yeah, but expectations for a PS3 game are higher. It looks, runs, and controls terribly. I only paid about $5 and was worth even that.
Here's the preview video. But really the game just sucks in it's own right. Do have to play it in person to enjoy it's full fugly flakey suckage. I do have games that look that good now. :O If not way better.
Another classic piece of suckage for ya, Kabuki Warriors for XBox. Eeeeeee-Ooooooh! I like crappy games. I try to finish at least a couple of awful games a year, makes the good games seem even better.
Dunno about LAN "parties," but you're right that LAN gaming has been around since Doom. I think I played Doom with some other people at my dad's office around the time it came out. We had a wired network in our house when I was a kid, and we used to play games like Half Life, Starcraft, Motocross Madness, Midtown Madness, Mechwarrior 3, etc. over the network. My dad recently started playing Mechwarrior 4 again, and he really likes it. He's never really liked gamepads - he says they make his finger sore (I think he's pressing the buttons too hard). He like joysticks, though, which is what he uses for Mechwarrior. I'm just glad to see him playing videogames. Back on topic, what is it with Genki? Some of their games were really good, and others were really shitty.
The Rocketeer for SNES, I was 12 years old back then and the artwork seemed cool. I somehow managed to finish that piece of crap though.
