Earlier today I had the misfortune of playing Ethnic Cleansing. Horrible, can't believe Neo nazi's circle jerk over it (they really do)
I was gonna say..thank god nobody mentioned Daikatana, because the title of the "worst fps" is really undeserved there, but now I see someone mentioned it, but at least it's the crappy N64 port by Kemco(I checked more games of them and they are all shitty imo). The N64 port had some completely different levels and even levels which retained similar look to the PC were more dumbed down as well plus the game was ridiculously easy(compared to the PC daikatana which has been called pretty the opposite and had many players rage because of its difficulty), the movement was slow as hell, the only good things were the menu and controls, they were better than Quake 2 for N64 at least. Oh and god, the cutscenes, the fucing cutscenes, they should have used FMVs as planned originally, they were quite good, at least the still shots of them...but god those cutscenes were just disgusting there. I did finish the N64 Daikatana though, but it wasn't something i got a good feeling of and the swimming system was horrid as well. The PC daikatana's main problem was bugs and some design decisions, but if you knew how to avoid them and if you patched the game enough it is enjoyable(and if you understand what the game purpose really was, the ideas behind it and that it shouldn't be taken all that seriously as if it is realistic, it was meant to be crazy tongue in cheeck fantasy/sci fi world, hence the robot frogs and flies an crocodiles by mishima in a polluted environment in the beginning of the game) and the multiplayer was just a blast, although the CTF is kinda lacking.
i have not heard of or played some of the games in this thread before but another bad one ive heard about is Superman 64 shudders.....
MRC is not the worst racing game on n64 i figure it has to be Aero gauge or Air boarder those are terrible in everyway and MRC is boring as hell lol
This thread needs more Lance Boyle I think I'm going to track down a copy of it, play it for ten minutes, and then spend my afternoons on Playstation sites telling people it'a much much better than Wipeout. Then when people don't agree with me I'll have a big sulk, call everyone a Nazi then write a long farewell post.
< LOL i want to play this one is it really as bad as people say ? i think Mega race 3 is a okish game
Nearly every movie/tv series/animation licensed game on the Snes sucked janet reno's big hairy balls Aladdin, all ren&stimpy games, Rocko, biker mice from mars, etc... Thank god I had a Genesis. About megarace it seems every kid with a Windows PC back then had that game. It wasn't that bad, not that there was a lot to choose from.
Only unskilled monkeys would say that. If you spend time to work out the play mechanics then it is one of the best games of all time. Crime Crackers did have some nice artwork though. Cosmic Race was pants though, although Neorex (NEeds, ORiginality, EXpansive... really...) do still exist although Cosmic Race does seem to be their first and only game as they concentrate on business software (they are one of the biggest providers of time management software in Japan...) now and no longer mention that game... (they did for many years....) it does make you wonder why they would really make a game... For me Action 52 on the NES is the biggest pile of dog dirt ever, why people feel the need to spend money on it. Would be cheaper to find a dominatrix to do painful things to you rather then to play it.
All the Megarace games are on GOG, I got the first 2 in the Xmas sale. Megarace isn't that bad...well, it is a bad game, but compared to most FMV games, especially the ones where all you do is watch a video and sometimes press a button, it's like Ocarina of Time. Plus, the Lance Boyle stuff is just so hilariously dated.
ET (Atari 2600) King's Knight (NES) - I liked some of it, but the Knight's stage and final stage drove me nuts! Top Rank Tennis (Game Boy) Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) Spec Ops (PlayStation) Super Man (Nintendo 64) Halo (XBOX) - Like with Final Fantasy VII & Star Wars, I never understood why it was so hyped and I'm picky when it comes to FPS.
What are you talking about? Mr. Bean for PS2 is awesome, well at least for it's demographics, which are kids. I saw children playing it, and they sure like it.
I swear the sole reason for you existence is to contradict everything I do/say. 1. Space Giraffe is so disorenting I can't play the game without getting Dizzy 2. Even if I wasn't on the verge of vomiting I still have no idea what the hell is going on. 3. If they were doing video games instead of images in a Clockwork Orange I'm pretty sure this would be the first game they'd force Alex to play There is a cool effect in the game if you take video of it and slow it down, you'll see a face appear. Still doesn't mean the game isn't a complete seziure inducing tempest wannabe mess.
No, he's pretty spot on. Space Giraffe is fairly goddamn brilliant once you figure out the mechanics. As for the worst game I've ever played, I imagine that would be Planet Joker. Or Cube Ninja on 3DS. Also, it may just be nostalgia (because it was the second NES game I ever owned, right after SMB), but I love King's Knight. As a kid I never figured out how to cast the spells which certainly makes the final level impossible, but once I figured that out it turned out to be a pretty fun game. Like Sonc 3D Blast too, though I vastly prefer the Saturn version (as I imagine anyone would).
