Coincidentally I'm going to Freeboot my PS2 tomorrow providing there's a copy of agent under fire in my local store. So I might give that a go.
Im playing: Metal Gear Solid on GBC Resident Evil 5 on PS3 Skate 3 On PS3 Iv'e only just recently got the PS3 so it is consuming a lot of my time at the moment, im playing the games ive wanted to have for a long time. When I finish Resi 5 ive got Metal Gear solid 4 and Arkham Asylum to blast through!
Resident Evil 5 on the 360 in 2 player mode and it's getting pretty good. Also playing Tiger woods 11 on the 360 and that's good too but only after i had changed some the settings. I had to turn of the putting meter thing whatever it's called because it just screwed me up when i came to putt but now since it's off i am a lot better at putting usualy getting a 1 putt if not too far away and a 2 if a decent distance away.
RE5 is probably my favourite high-budget title of this gen, and it's great fun for co-op. I'll never understand the criticism it got; bunch of idiots whining that it wasn't Gears 2 as far as I could tell.
I just finished Gears 1 on co-op which was fun but so far i am preferring Resi 5 on co-op, still got to get Gears 2 and play that although i doubt its that much different to the first. Anyway i am right now playing some Winning Eleven 6 Final Evolution for the GC on the Dolphin 2.0 emulator as i wanted to see how well it worked in general and on my computer plus i miss my GC and will at somepoint get another one to play the games i am emulating properly.
Still pretty much playing the same games I was before, plus: PS3 GT5 Yakuza 3 Uncharted (almost given up this one though, after it became a boring cover shooter with awkward controls in the 4th chapter instead of the fun Indiana Jones stuff of the first levels) I've got Heavy Rain too, but haven't even started it yet...
Am I missing anything since I never played the first two Yakuza games. I know I could just watch the recaps in the main menu of 3.
Yay and nay. Y3 wise, you're not missing anything that will leave you lost or confused in Y3. The recaps cover everything you need to know to play the game. Yay in the sense you miss out on the great story in Y1 & Y2. The recaps just barely scratch the surfice of those game and are well worth going back to play (specially Y2, The last 1/3-1/4 of the game was awesome and far better then Y3). Y3's ending disappointed me and i'll leave it at that not to spoil the game. Over all Y3 was still fun to play through. So far i've beaten Y2 & Y3. I just got Y1 last month and working my way through it. I also have Kenzen but I got stuck part way through the game. Y4 is suppose to be the best yet and I can't wait to get that in march!
Was just wondering since they aren't that easy to find anymore, plus I don't really feel like digging out my PS2 anymore. I knew that I should at least watch the recaps since the very beginning of the game was about clan this and yakuza that, and characters who died in earlier parts
007 Blood Stone on the 360. I maxed out my online multiplayer level yesterday hoping to get some sort of achivement. I got NOTHING! I'm pretty pissed off about that. Still, I am ranked 127 in the world out of almost 48000 players so I'm happy with that. Time to get back to the normal game to get those 007 achivements.
PSP: Split/Second (but my umd laser seems to be dieing :-( ) PS3: GT5 (better than expected) NDS: Last Window - The secret of Cape West Neo Geo Cab: Strikers 1945+ (I have it on my PSP too, but you can't compare the two experiences)
Agreed! Also I bought Angry Birds from the PSN Store, and my son loves watching me play, but I'm absolutely dissappointed a the lag in the game when there is none on my iPod Touch. I love the game and controllers on the big screen, but the lag is a bit ridiculous. I hope they come out with an update . . . -Disjaukifa
