Yeah, what's up with that? Why do people like a thing that I don't like? What's wrong with people, right? Clearly my tastes and preferences are objectively correct!
Have you tried EVERY Jrpg like the Japan only ones? I mean i'm not trying to take shots over it or anything it's your honest opinion and all but not all of them are terrible especially the Super obscure ones that people even pros don't know about ever. But anyways about the topic, I go & say All Shrumps/Shoot em' ups are hella boring! no offence, overrated racing games like Gran Turismo & Need for Speed, & definitely Grand Theft Auto & specially Call of Duky!
Really the quality of Sonic games plummeted after Knuckles, Adventure 1 and 2 were good, but not amazing, and both had the flaws that would make games like 06 an unplayable mess. Honestly I've never really enjoyed any RE game, and I can't figure out why. Ok, follow-up question, why? If you don't like Nintendo made games, what would compel you to get any of those systems?
I like 3rd party games much more, battletoads, ninja turtles, snakes rattle'n'roll, too much to enumerate.
- Bioshock series - Minecraft - Resident Evil 4 - Halo 4 - GTA 4 I would also like to clarify that GTA 4 is crappy due to the characters, story, & driving mechanics. The Rage engine that powers the game as well as the Euphoria engine that is worked into it are fucking phenomenal, providing some of the most impressive tech for a sandbox game such as GTA. They also added a ton of features that I had always wanted in GTA (fly thu windshield, cars not exploding while upside down, actual animation that shows the player stealing a car, being able to hear the radio of passing cars, etc), & a ton of things I never could have imagined. That being said, the characters were so damn forgettable. After one playthrough of 3, Vice, & Andreas, I had actual memories of the various villains & friends, as well as a good outline of the story. I beat GTA 4 not long after I purchased it, & then I put it away for the next couple of years until I got it for the PC. When I thought back on it, I realized that not a single character left an impression on me (besides maybe Roman), & had a hard time remembering much from the game. Not to mention that the previous games seemed more light-hearted and like they wanted to have fun with themselves, GTA 4 feels as if it has a more serious tone to it, even if it still has childish joke advertisements. I came back to it after I got the PC version since I could now use mods/trainers for things like infinite health & the ability to get drunk & stumble anywhere, something that was sorely missing from the console versions (the in game cheats for GTA 4 really took a step backwards). Doing this I was able to get so much more out of the engine, really enjoying it to the fullest. GTA 4 has awesome gameplay, amazing engine, beautiful visuals, but the story & characters that tie it together don't do it justice.
Oh yeah, Resident Evil. Awful voice acting (at least the version I played), the horrific loading times, unnecessarily cryptic puzzles (I have to press a button on the *side* of the book to open it?). I get that zombies were the in thing back then, but it always left me baffled. Also even though I played a lot of multiplayer FPS growing up (Doom, ROTT, Quake etc) I just can't get into the modern ones like CoD. I just don't get the same rush from them as I do from QuakeLive.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GyOYaDHquE What on earth do you mean? The only thing better than the acting in that game were the effects. Such a shame it didn't win the Oscar
Elder Scrolls,Fallout 3,Mass Effect, KOTOR,Counter Strike,Doom 3 BFG,Dragon age,God of War,minecraft, pretty much any recent WPRG that isn't The Witcher. The rest don't really do it for what I like in an RPG. I would say they are all fucking awful games out right, but I know that just because "I" don't like them or find aspects of them completely appalling, doesn't mean they are factually terrible. (Even if Skyrim deserved so much worse review scores with how buggy and how many technical issues there were at launch) Nothing wrong with this! Not everything tickle's everyone's fancy or taste. Just look at my examples. /shrug
Uncharted 1 is shit. Well, the exploration parts are fun, but there's way too little of those and too much bad cover shooting. Most of the shittiness comes from the unseen part of the backstory where an evil wizard put a curse on Nathan Drake causing every weapon he holds to turn into an airsoft gun, therefore it takes half a mag from an AK-47 to kill one guy. Finally I had enough and got rid of this steaming shitpile and decided to just move on to 2 and 3, since I've heard they have less shitty combat.
I think Sonic is on the way back up now with the likes of Generations and Sonic 4 Ep II, still needs a little work though but it's not as bad as '06. They need to make him a little more faithful to the classic games, more Robotnik taking over / trying to get all the emeralds etc. Less new characters / monsters. Maybe some more Metal Sonic
i think sonic looks like he does now is because hes grown up classic sonic is basicly a child while modern sonic is a teenanger and not all the 3d sonic game suck what about the adventure games
