I've only played the first Splinter Cell, but I thought it was pretty damn average and forgettable. It's not my type of game though. It sucks that someone payed 50$ for it at one time though when now it's, what, 3$? hey, Warakia, do you have some shots of FFX in the higher resolution? I wasn't ever a big fan of FFX but I'm interested in how it looks with higher res...
i have a version 7 myself with flip top, and i can say it has never ever messed up on me. I dont get dre at all, only gotten it once or twice and that due to a disc being heavily scratched, i do as well get that issue with dual layer games in which it goes to the menu for a split sec and loads up, but ive never had a problem with mine at all.
Sorry cannot do pics of FFX till vacation. Anyway I don't have a screen capture device so you probably won't notice it from a camera picture. You might just have to play it yourself, unless you are utterly bored with FFX already. BTW it does not work on the asian version or international version, only the original Japanese. I don't even know about reprints, should be ok. Anyway just go original jap to save the bother. When you put the disc in the install option is in Katakana under the continue option. BTW for those who have never played the jap version, the voice acting is superb. I could barely play the international version with the american voices, yuck. I remember I actually brought my first HDD with FFX. It was a package, FFX had a red HDD sticker on the front cover boasting of the HDD feature. Goes to show even FFX can't sell hardware on its own (looking at hironobu's games on the 360). Anyway HDD is very useful, shame sony dumped support, ho hum.
it sadly was a piracy thing, sony got too afraid to release it due to piracy concerns, much with the psps games on memory stikc feature.
