Hmm... My setup is kinda rough at the moment. It'll look mooch nicer once I move to Reading Anyway, this is my Desk Area :- Nothing too special here. Note the stack of Gamecubes And yes, I am using one Gamecube as a GBA for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Oh, and Optimus Prime on the Left there. In the lounge area - As I'm in Europe, thats an RGB TV the Saturn and Dreamcast are hooked up to Currently used for Saturn Bomberman and House of the Dead 2 when I have mates over! Oh, and my Tekken arcade stick is hiding in the back there, for when I fire up Marvel vs Capcom 2
46" LCD HD TV, and not far off in the draw below... 2x 19" Hyundai LCD monitors etc etc. There's all kinds of crap in my room so I won't bore you with it
AimBob - Are you running 2x LCD's as an extended desktop or dual PC's? DIddyDonn - May be interested in the TV Also... Oh and more info on that Xbox with the mods please...!!
will pm you about the tv in a bit as for the xbox, heres the full specs (nothing really special, but does the job for me) 1.6 motherboard with x3ce chip official halo green case with a x3 control panel on the front (so you can see running time of films, mp3s etc, file names etc.) with 2x usb ports and intergrated ir sensor for the remote 300gb hitachi hdd, basically filled with my most played games, movies, mp3s, emulators, tv shows etc. running xbmc as default dash, with xbox classic skin at the mo samsung 605b dvd drive both heatsinks have been reseated with artic silver coolant, stock fan has been replaced with a quieter one, cant remember which make tho. also have linux runing on it, but not very good, as need to change to a lower version mobo which supports 720p at some point and thats about it, nothing really special compared to some ive seen but its my baby and acts as my dvd player, hifi, etc. and is also networked upto my main server pc for streaming video, audio, etc.
Cool!! Must admit it was the X3 which first grabbed my attention as i havent seen one of them before... (must have been asleep! ) Makes me want to go out and get an Xbox just to mod! lol
2x 19" LCD's, 1 PC with dual view (it's a little different from extended view as the task bar only appears on 1 screen, and games will launch on the primary monitor). If you have it set to extended everything gets streched and it looks aweful.
I have two... one that I play all the time, and one that I seemingly never use. -25" Wega CRT (I should've got a 28") w/ AV-Multi (RGB) input. Can currently play PS/2, Saturn, and PCBs in RGB. -3Ghz PC w/ Arcade VGA, and a nifty VGA->21 pin RGB connector. Allows me to play Mame, SFC, MegaDrive, PC-Engine games in 15khz... often with prettier results than the real thing. Of course, other emulators as well that support the resolution. The one I don't play 20" Aquos HDTV w/ all my "HD" machines. (DC, Xbox and the 2 games I have for it, GC and the 3 games I have for it).
Not mine.....but worth a post!!!! http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/blogs/turn_10s_forza_motorsport_blog/archive/2007/04/24/100176.aspx How can you get tv`s/lcd`s etc to be set up like that? any ideas?
actually thats forza 2 for the 360, the better setup ive seen is 5 fullsize screens, and a small lcd used as a rear view mirror. and yes you do need a 360 for each screen
didn't notice the steering wheel! How do you cluster the systems for sync? a router/hub? (don't tell me USB ) if you notice on the lower right corner (under the screen to the right) there are three "fat" black 360s
My setup at school consists of my Quad Mac Pro hooked up to my 24 inch Dell 1080p+ LCD, along with my PS3 and Wii hooked up to it. My 360 is hooked into my 720p projector, and is hooked up to the 5.1 surround sound. At home, Ive got my 4 arcade machines (Marvel vs Capcom/ Street Fighter 2, Playchoice 10, Neogeo, San Francisco Rush sitdown), plus countless other things hooked up hah.
My current setup consists of a 28" tv/dvd combo wth the output which only works for DVD hooked up to my Cambridge audio amp ps2, gc and xbox video connected to tv and audio also connected to my amp along with pc, my games sit upright behind my consoles against the wall I regularly change things about so i wouldn't be suprissed if everything moves place and then i realise that cables i have are not long enough or it was better ther way it was
