Yeah, it's amazing right now. Too bad I'm in class! :crying: What was the topic of this thread again?
I don't have any pictures but my setup goes something like this: TV: Panasonic 52" LCD Projection HDTV Currently connected systems: Wii (horizontal for the record), PS2, Dreamcast, NES TV: Sharp 32" SDTV Systems: Gamecube/GBPlayer - used for playing GBA games on my TV mostly. It's hard to find time these days to even play games, let alone connect the other systems...
No pics either, but I have a nice simple setup: 20 inch TV PS2, XBOX and my FC Twin are plugged in. I also have two speakers and a sub hooked up. Nothing fancy or complicated, and it works for me. I also have a Dreamcast, Saturn and Genesis stored and play them from time to time. I'm eventually going to get a flatscreen when I get my 360.
Mines even simpler. 20 inch TV Wii connected, with the small amount of games I own, and a CD player with a record player below it. Across the room we go, where its less simple... My Toshibia Satellite M45 which I do some minor PC gaming on. My DS lite with a few games, my DVD collection, my soon to be bought PSP, and my two MP3 players. And on my dresser is my broken xbox which I need to get around to fixing. No pictures. Gomen.
How does the Gamecube being used as a GBA work??? I recognise the adaptor lead running from the Purple Gamecube. but not the black box???
thats a gameboy player for the gamecube, you can pick them up quite cheaply off ebay im more jealous of the optimus on the desk, is that an original or remake?
i used to have a gameboy player, you basically plug it underneath the gamecube (think it went into the serial input) use a boot disc and plug the gameboy game into the player, and off you go, gameboy advance on the bigscreen! and if i remember right it even supported prog scan output for high def. pokemon hd!
i was just wondering how it works as the GBA adaptor is plugged into the Purple GC Controller port and then the GBA end is in the GC/GBA Base on teh black one.. then the Black GC has a std controller comeing from it....
Thats not what hes wondering. He wants to know why the GBA Connector cable is plugged into the black gamecube's GBA player, which leads to the purple one.
20" LCD Flat Screen (take a picture in morning) connected to it is Mega Drive with 32X and Mega CD Dreamcast PS3 have a saturn in cupboard for use now andthen
Okay, I hadn't noticed all the questions! The Optimus is the 20th Anniversary release Optimus Prime. Not very hard to get a hold of (unless you live where I do, where Transformers are never in the shops ) As for the Gamecube setup, it works like so : The Black GC has a Gameboy player, that is connected via the GBA - GC link cable to the purple GC. The Black GC is connected to the Dell monitor via a VGA Box. Players 1-3 Use GBA SPs with other Link cables (not pictured). Player 4 uses the Black GC (via normal GC controller, as always with the Gameboy player) to play as the fourth player on a separate screen. That make sense? I can get a picture if you like
32" Sony oldskool widescreen tv With currently hanging around the TV: Xbox360 (PAL) Xbox (PAL) XMBC Gamecube (PAL) Net Yaroze DTL-H3002 (PAL) Playstation SCPH-1000 (NTSC-J) Nec PC-FX (NTSC-J) Turbo Grafx (PAL) Sanyo TRY 3DO IMP 21J (NTSC-J) Victor Saturn RG-JX1 (NTSC-J) Rest of my stuff is probably boxed in the attic (old nintendo/sega stuff mostly)
Here is some proof, for the unbelievers! I just grabbed 4 Swords and did it with Picture-in-Picture, as my VGA box is now packed away.
