    <Suddenly all the power goes out....> Chess! <Power goes back on again> and if your prefer Pac-Man, which I have adored since it came out and continue to purchase & enjoy in it's many variations. A bit like Subbie and his "Pong" answer, it's just a classic (root) title that contains many of the elements of what makes a game enjoyable.

    Good one Parris, I have PacMan on my phone.....great when you're waiting for meetings to start or you're in the loo.

    My favourite game of all time is FF7. I've played it to death but I love it so much. All the spin offs are fucking crap and Square should just do what all the punters want - remake it for PS3...... *faint*

    But if you don't have time to play that (cos you're about to die) I'd go with God of War on PS2. Holy moly, I got the demo with a magazine and was instantly hooked on it - awesome game. I just fear in 10 years time we'll be playing God of War 7.......too many sequels these days....

    - ICO - stunning atmosphere
    - Metal Gear Solid 1 - stunning blur effect
    - Metal Slug serie
    - Radiant Silvergun - genius shooter
    - Soul Edge
    - Killer Instinct

    Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

    Hands down, one of the best games I've ever played and I'm not that much of an RPG fan.
