Just to settle an arguement that most people here will either have a HDTV and use a CRT for older consoles or use a CRT exclusively.
For newer consoles (xbox, 360, ps2, wii, gc, dreamcast), i use a 37" HDTV Older gaming, a 32" Panasonic CRT in the bedroom and also a crappy 14" screen in my office
for x360 i use a fullHD 32" lcd screen for psx, snes and oldies i use a wonderful sony trinitron 32" with rgb scart it's like heaven!
Old school non-widescreen CRT all the way for me, just whats needed for unstretched light gun blasting!
I just use a multi-region 15" crt for everything. Wouldn't mind a bigger TV but just don't have the space or funds.
At the time i'm using an old 28" Crt for every console i own, but i'm thinking on buying a 32" LCD or plasma :love2:.
37" LCD for everything despite ps2/sat tate-shooters that I play on a flipped CRT. Once I have an arcade cabinet though, I will flip my CRT back into normal position and use it to play normal Saturn and PC-Engine/MD games which I use to play currently on my LCD (looks really bad most of the time). I have also a tate pc monitor standing next to my 2 normal pc monitors to play tate Dreamcast-shooters.
Mainly 27" HDTV for 360 and Wii...everything else....27" CRT, unless I don't wanna move stuff around.
I used to use just a 32" LG HDTV but my retro looked shit on it, so a few weeks ago I also got hold of a 25" Toshiba CRT off eBay, it's a bloody good TV. So I have the best of both worlds now.
I use a 20" Sony Trinitron for the almost everything but I have a 37" Panasonic HDTV for xbox/xbox360. I sometimes use the Dreamcast VGA on the HDTV, its a shame almost no games supported widescreen. Even on a good HDTV I was not happy with classic RGB input.
I use my 24inch Dell LCD for everything up here, at home, its the arcade monitors, CRTs, and my projector
40" 1080p for everything inc gaming on pc but not web browsing or work as thats done on my macbook pro.
40 inch 1080i Olevia I use for my PS3/360/PC, and my 30 inch Toshiba for anything older and cannot support widescreen above 720p. Only problem with the Toshiba is it has a effect on any non-2D games that make it stutter a little.
