What would you do with $250 million USD?

i'd do a few things.

pay off my debts
buy an imported nissan skyline
buy a medium sized house with a couple acres of land attached
buy a .50 BMG rifle, a McMillan tac rifle, and a AI arctic warfare sniper rifle
and enough ammo for a lifetime for all 3
a clothing fund to keep me entertained
separate fund for socks
a few dogs
the startup and enough for a year or two of expenses for a night club, sock store and fashion label
a fund to cover the HRT and any surgeries i might need
10 million to keep me fed and property taxes for a long while

and the remaining put into a fund to open a few clinics/resource centers specifically for transgendered people with financial help available for lower income people to cover the HRT and such

think that about covers it

Meh, even if I was uncomfortable as a man I wouldn't consider any sex-change operation available today.

Until they can re-arrange your DNA to turn you into a member of the opposite sex you wont be anything but a person with mangled genitals.

 

most people wouldn't understand. you'd have to go through the depresion, never feeling comfortable with who you are, be disgusted with the fact you have the wrong parts, etc. to truly enderstand

they've gotten better the past few years. its a take what you can get and be very picky about what doctor you want. and in my mind, and in the minds alot of people i know, whatever you feel inside is the true person you are. even if they still have dangly bits, if they are a girl in their mind. they are a girl

On the other hand you could pour those $250M into genetic research

I would find a way to amplify my cat's purring so I can make everyone in the country deaf

 

That's not so difficult.... Building the deaf-machine won't eat up all your 250$..
You will save at least 125kk$ for your self.

To give a glimpse of what could be done in this field with more gene research, a guy in the UK found a way to actually grow breasts, instead of using implants that look unnatural and cause diseases.

I wouldn't recommend it, those attract unwanted people into your garden.

i wasn't trying to be a dick. i just wanted to show that while that's how you feel on the subject i have no problem with it. everyone's different on how they feel about things and how they rationalize those things.

and i saw an article on that. could be an interesting advancement if it follows though to become a regular treatment. all sorts of uses from former breast cancer patients to TG people. cause HRT only gives you , on average, one cup size below your mothers size

there is also a procedure in development that would implant a uterus in TG people for a pregnancy term. its many years off but its going along well enough if they felt the need to put it out there for all to see

but its also amazing how easily the human body changes. within a few months of HRT the pubic bone will completely shift to the position found in natal females. and as HRT continues muscle mass starts decreasing/compacting, sperm production stops, breasts will start to grow, body fat starts changing the parts of the body it sits on, the skin will thin and so on. the human body is both amazing and creepy all at once

 

invest in real estate..its the only thing id be comfortable with. buy a STACK of apartments in somewhere liek singapore/malaysia/tokyo etc and rent them out.

invest 150million
Keep 100 million. Half of that in a high interest yielding account
50million personal saving. buy an awesome high rise apartment like the one from Frasier but bigger - a few cars...get some plastic surgery sure why not..

then retire and just take up 2 martial arts and get a personal trainer every day and keep really really fit.

 

I would hire a team of artists and make a N64 platformer

Well, If I will get this much amount of money then I will continuously stare that money if I will get chance to en cash it. else will thinking over my entire life what should I do with this? Surely half of that will spent into NGOs or social service.
