There aren't many PSP games I can really say I need at this point besides Salamander I do need at least a PSP 2000 to hook up to my TV though.
That's how I got my 3DO, I was at one of my regular places and they had one for $50, and I was like "Man, I'd like a 3DO, I'll get it"
I really don't care about CIB. I only have 2 CIB games, Mega Man and Bass and Gunstar Super Heroes, not counting the Japanese GBA games I have which are all CIB. I just don't have room for CIB cart games.
I have the ongoing struggle of collecting the good US Saturn titles currently. Also need a good CRT for those light gun games and to replace my Saturn's laser. Had this replacement sitting on my desk for about a year now.
DON'T DO IT!!! Not only can a PS3 or PS2 play all PS1 games I can think of, but the Genesis is such a beautiful box. Pre-GC Nintendo games are such a pain to get CIB. If you can find one in the box, it'll usually double or triple in value. At the local game store, which is more expensive than flea markets, but better, pretty much any SNES or N64 game in the box is at least $15. And that's like Madden 2000 or something.
Been focusing on PC games ranging from the DOS days to games released in recent years (If they do not have a copy protection scheme that makes the disc release useless that is...), but I also want to give my Genesis some love and get some more games for it that I have been emulating for years. Been craving some Gunstar Heroes and I want to look into repro carts for a few games that weren't released here in the US.
Classic PC games get NO LOVE I swear Metal Jesus Rocks is the only one keeping them alive. PC Gaming Back in the day was such an experence. It's lost that charm now.
I think it's the lack of decent boxes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnoP68WwLnk PC gaming has gone digital faster than consoles, by a large margin. Partially because for the most part Steam has done it right.
My son you are unhappy because you do not allow the lord Gabe into your heart. He has sales and makes less revenue for our sins.
I'M big in to PC Engine at the moment. many years ago I had a pretty healthy collection with over 100 titles but had to sell it due to money problems. Now it's time to get the classics back but there's a problem. Many of the games I bought for peanuts back then now cost way more
When the time comes to get a PC Engine, I'm getting a Turbo Drive with it. I just don't have the money to collect for both the Saturn and PC Engine.
The thing with the Turbo/PC Engine is that most good games are Japan only. Like the Saturn, but worse.
