Thank you for this thread slapducky, it's quite interesting to read what people think about sharing !
I do recognize my opinion in what RetroSwim says, i.e. having the disc or cartridge may be a lot more interesting than having the data only, which has nearly no other interest than evaluation purpose IMO.
I don't think prices for items like this would be affected by the fact they would be disclosed to the public but maybe 'basic quality games' would come back from pricey to basic (affordable) price !?...
Same with a retail game : wouldn't you buy a the game you like playing rather than using the downloaded iso you could have found somewhere ? I wouldn't.
Sharing is the best way to prevent people from making profit, that wouldn't kill prices but just inappropriate prices.

If at some point in the near future have a war with super highly destructive bombs, ignoring that the most valuable is life itself, what would you think about that in a second, their valuable collections disappear?

We would be collectors of dust and ashes.
bahh is just an innocent remark, money is not everything and the material remains.

It's fun to come here to see new things, but if something is rare and remains secret is as if it never existed, so whatever.

    Greetings to all
