Seriously, please keep the fighting on other boards. I am getting tired of threads here constantly devolving into arguments or flat out fighting and name calling. There are plenty of other places where people don't care or even enjoy that sort of thing, but I hope that we can make this place more mature.
Don't worry mairsil, we are on the case. There's nothing more that I hate than arse holes making the board a battle ground. Yakumo
Tin-eared Graph-paper brained accountants Instead of music fans Call all the shots at giant record companies now The lowest common denominator rules Forget honesty Forget creativity The dumbest buy the mostest That's the name of the game But sales are slumping And no one will say why Could it be they put out one too many lousy records?!? M.T.V.-Get off the air! NOW And this seems to be even truer now than when the song was written 15 years ago!
Hmmm I can only say I am looking forward to the DM concert Even though I don´t like the new album. In some ways when DM are playing, I feel like a chick who screams at her idols, and again (no I don´t scream). Well Music has a special place in me And how are you doing Purge ?
music didnt mean much to me untill i got my head smashed in. now i need music to live. in the car i need music to concentrate and relax, i need music to help me sleep, music to wake me up, to calmn me down, to focus... listening to music often changes my mood. death metal/black metal calmns me down, classical music excites me, easy listening pisses me off, alternative rock ...r&b, classic-rock, ska, nu-metal, kenny g, techno, and the cure all make me violently angry...theres some others. its not soo much about what i hear, but how it makes me feel when i listen to it. i mean like listening to the sound of police sirens, racoons, and glass bottles being thrown against a wall.
Got your head smashed in...? Ha ha I agree with the death metal thing, stuff thats really noisy for some reason calms me down or makes me sleepy.
The Jester Race (In Flames) makes me very relaxed, along with most Opeth songs. The Jester Race is actually the only death metal CD I've fallen asleep to.
