Why Frieza doesn't said "Papa" not "Otōsan お父さん" ??

Basically get stuff that's not too technical or focused on a certain specialized subject, meaning no Gundam for example. I found romantic comedy type of manga easy to read with lots of standard conversations. Because they avoid specialistic terms and they have more ''real'' Japanese in it than most of those shonen manga's.

I do feel that because of the furigana reading manga is more about having vocabulary than kanji skills though. Else just go to your local book-off, flip through some of them if possible and if not, remember the titles, download a chapter at home to check it out and then go back to buy it if it suits your taste.
