I doubt that's wise to begin with, judging from all of the horror stories :D.

As I read this, I literally have a few stacks of boxes full of stuff planned to go up on eBay... Stories like these make me wonder if I should stop using paypal, especially for larger transactions.

Problem is, most people are too lazy to run to the post office (or wherever else) and buy a money order. And some buyers feel safer using PP anyway for the "proof" of payment you get.

Without a tracking number, it is the seller's word vs the buyer's word and PayPal always sides with the buyer (or so it seems)
As a seller - you have to worry about false claims
As a buyer - you have to worry about never getting the item and having a legitimate claim stopped short because there are no funds in the sellers paypal account

And we all know eBay/Paypal don't do shit to help with either of these things.

Sorry if some of this is just a repeat of prior posts.

So would shipping FedEx (or EMS for international) and having a tracking number, help prevent false claims, or does PayPal need more proof from the seller's end than just that number?
