So basically it's just like a TEST PS2. It plays all media (multi-region) except movies.

Cool.

One thing - dare you hook it up to the internet? Can you download normal system updates for it like a retail?

P.S Sorry for the hi-jack Wombat. I don't have a PS3 TEST for sale (wish I did, it wouldn't be for sale though!)
