atreyu linked me to dc-sd.com awhile back and if my memory is right he mentioned that their dc-sd cards have alot better build quality than the ones you find from those chinese sellers on ebay, so if atreyu trusts them I think it's safe to say that they're legit, their DC-VGA cable has my interest.

Sorry for the double post but, how long does it take to arrive? I ordered one just over two weeks ago and it hasn't showed up yet. On the site it says the shipping to the US takes two weeks. I heard some other user on another site had to wait six weeks for theirs. So, anybody on here bought one from that site could you tell me how long took to get yours?

Bump. I would like some clarification as well.

I ordered some stuff from them about 10 days ago. It's still in the "processing" phase, and I haven't heard back from the admin when I emailed them.

Am I going to get my stuff? Going to take forever? Going to wrap up soon?

Does anyone have the means to get in contact with the site owners?

If this is the original guy who was selling them from China (and I think it is) - I ordered my SD adapter from them, took a while but it arrived. I'm pretty sure he makes them to order, so there isn't stock lying around.

Either way, two weeks from China? I would give it at least a month before I start raising an eyebrow and wondering if it's going to arrive. I've had post sent to me within Italy that's taken over two weeks, likewise in the UK when I lived there. Just got to wait a while, that's all.

How much interest is there in an internal mod like the first picture above? I designed a nice little pcb where all you need to do is solder 7 wires to the serial connector and mount the pcb with SD card reader wherever you want. Once I have the boards in and populated I will mode my Dreamcast and show pictures.

With DCIO somewhat on the horizon, for me there's not.

Well I have 10 on order and once I have them all built I will put them up for sale for anyone interested in it and it will be a decent price say $18 for North America and $22 Worldwide which includes shipping.
I'm also looking forward to the DCIO but until it's available this is a decent alternative especially for homebrew (emulators and such).

I just received mine from dc-sd.com and it looks like a piece of junk, nothing like the picture on the site.

I'll see tonight if it works.

Nothing to report, by the way. Does what it says on the box.

Well that's something. Now we know that it works and that they deliver.
They have replaced the photo btw. So that we can preview the ugly piece of junk in all it's glory.

Anyone know of a similar connector that might fit into the serial port of the Dreamcast?

IIRC, the crazy russians are hacking up a PCI-E (or maybe AGP?) slot, cutting it down the middle and using that.
